Story
Myrtle was adopted by Riley Rescue in May 2023. She was 5 months old at the time. She is house broken and current with all her shots. She is microchipped. She is not a fan of a crate, but can be alone for extended times ( I work full time out of the house). She is house broken. Myrt is pure love! My older dog has made her feel scared. She is not comfortable around her. Myrt has anxiety with thunderstorms and vet appointments. She is currently treated at Mt. Laurel animal hospital's behavior program for her anxiety. Myrt learns quickly. She likes to walk and play, but also loves to snuggle on the couch all day.She knows basic commands, but can be excitable when people come in the house. Myrt is silly & lovable to everyone.

Story
Bambi is a 2 y/o female mixed breed dog. She is very active with a lot of energy and loves belly rubs. She is good with learning commands like sit, paw, down, and can even spin! Bambi is a very reactive dog who has not been socialized with other dogs. Our home had unexpected changes to our routine which requires us to travel outside the country frequently. We are unable to give Bambi the training and the best life she deserves. We hope to find Bambi a patient and loving home!

Story
Nala came into my life when I was on vacation in Puerto Rico. She was just a stray puppy at the time, but after seeing her again the next day, we took her to the vet, got her a plane ticket, and brought her home. Since then she’s been a loving companion, and I’ve had the privilege of caring for her. Nala is a calm and low-energy dog, especially on a day-to-day basis. She loves sunbathing and taking naps, and she’s very gentle, often sticking to herself and her owner. She loves music and will even dance with you in the kitchen, and if there’s a patch of sunlight, you can bet she’ll find her way to it! She’s friendly with people, including kids, though she is a bit skittish around men at first. Nala also loves cats and interacts very well with them, I fostered a few kittens while Nala was 1-4 so if you have cats, she’d likely be a great fit. No adoption fee because it's not about the money, I want to find Nala a loving home.

Story
Violet is a Lab mix rescued in 2020, currently 4yrs old turning 5 yrs August 30 weighing approx. 42lbs. She needs an experienced adopter who understands her reactivity and keeps disciplined and is consistent. She does not like other dogs. Does well with our cat. She follows commands and her best one is Find It and high-five. Can be afraid at times and needs reassurance. Enjoys a nice warm bath and will allow herself in the tub for one and remains calm. She can be energetic but enjoys lounging and can be alone for extended periods of time. Enjoys long walks and being outdoors watching the birds and if she could, chase every squirrel encountered. Prefers quiet and stress free environments. She loves lounging on the couch and playing with her favorite toys and enjoys being by your side and on the lap. Desiring her a home who can love her dearly and continue to make her a successful and a happy companion.

Story
Angel is an adopted Pittie mix. I think she is mixed with chocolate lab. She is a sweet and loving companion dog. She wants to lay at your feet or cuddle on the sofa and watch television, she will also sit outside with you on your porch and watch the rain or enjoy the birds flying by. She loves plushy toys, big bones, long walks and giving kisses if you allow. She’s the sweetest most cuddly dog you will ever meet. She knows basic commands and she walks very good on a leash. This is a family pet that needs to go to a loving home someone who will care for her. I am only considering adoption because I am in grad school and struggling to find the time to give her the enrichment she needs. I will keep her before I allow her to go to a bad home this dog is apart of my family and I love her very much. She is reactive to other dogs but has never been in a fight or attack another dog she’s just a reactive barker so I would like to see her in an home where someone can continue her training

Story
I adopted Maggie from a shelter and she was very timid at first but as she began to warm up to the home she became very energized and had a problem with play biting. It took her about a week to get over that with proper training, she is a good learner if you can keep her attention. My only issue with her is she has a bit of separation anxiety and I am not sure how to treat that. She is a very loving and sweet dog, unfortunately when I moved into a new apartment, then landlord did not accept pets. Looking for a loving home for her
