Molly is a sweet, energetic, 1 year old lab mix that is looking for her forever home. We found her as a stray and we took her in and got her healthy. She has had all shots and is spayed. She is potty trained and knows sit and lay down. Sometimes treats are needed to motivate her to follow commands. She is crate trained. Molly is a super sweet puppy who loves attention. I adopted Avery from a foster to be a companion for another dog I had adopted in April. My hip had become really painful (I'm looking at a hip replacement now) and I felt he needed a companion to play with, since our walks had gotten shorter and slower. She is still a puppy - about 8 months old at this time. They both got along great - they play tug of war with toys, "play fight" and run in and out of the dog door playing chase. Avery is very friendly - never met a dog or person she didn't want to become best friends with. But she is a true bundle of energy, and has gotten to be more than I can handle with my bad hip. I think she would do best in a new home, hopefully with lots of outdoor space and someone with the energy and time to train her and play with her. She does like to cuddle when she isn't running around - she jumped on the bed with me the first night and virtually sleeps on top of me all night

We gave a dog to my cousin, he let it get pregnant, came back to the house dropped it off and left. That mother gave birth to this and a few other dogs, she was fixed and adopted out. This one has spent the first part of life running around the yard and having fun till the new neighbors threw a fit so we had to put him and his brother in a cage. We now have the pet safe invisible fence so they can be in the yard again. I can't keep them on there indefinitely because you're not suppose to according to the instructions. They required a lot of attention. At least 4 hours of human contact a day. They will require training as they think they can just go to the bathroom anywhere they want. This one has something going on with its front elbows I'm guessing from being in the cage too long. It should get better but it's not gross or bleeding the fur just won't grow back. They like to chew. On. Everything. They like to hump pretty much any dog in. They kill an opossum and a large snake recently.

Story
Barbie is such a sweet but misunderstood dog. We adopted her in 2024 from dekalb animal shelter. She had some behavioral issues but she calmed down a lot and now is the sweetest little cuddler. We have a toddler and a new baby on the way and we just feel bad that we can’t give her the attention she deserves. We have kept our toddler and Barbie separate but whenever my toddler is around she leaves him alone (does not approach him) she has guard dog tendencies so she will look out for weird noises or people coming around your house. She might be a handful at first but once she gets comfortable, she just want to cuddle and sunbathe all day.
