Story
Shelby is 7 years old, came from Rescue. She is high energy loves walks and runs. She is agressive around other dogs with food and toys. She has never met a cat but I think she would equate it to a squirrel and try to attack it. She has always been friendly with people. She weighs about 56 pounds. She was raised with another rescue (black dog in the photo) both need to be rehomed but can do single dog. She is an indoor dog and has never slept in bed with humans.

Story
My daughter and I rescued Ziggy. He was in a shelter in South Carolina in 2021 found on the streets. I only saw his picture upon arrival. He is very anxious. He will not go for a walk. He is very timid and shy. He’s sweet and loving his anxiety results in just being afraid of everything !NOT At all aggressive .I worked full-time and I’m not home enough to be with him, he does have significant allergy issues. He would be a great dog for somebody who is Home just wants a low-key very low energy dog who does require some special needs due to his severe fear and anxiety. I’m not sure what happened to him in South Carolina, but I suspect maybe he was abused I really would like a kind, loving person to adopt him versus taking him to a shelter, which would be my last resort. I just don’t have the time or resources to give him the attention he needs.

Story
Lizzie is a loving, smart, affectionate dog who bonds deeply with her people. Once comfortable, she is incredibly sweet, loyal, playful, cuddly, and attentive. She loves long walks, running outdoors, lounging around the house, and being close to the people she trusts. We love her very much, which is why this decision has been so difficult. Unfortunately, our lives and schedules have become much busier, and we no longer feel able to provide the calm, structured environment she needs long-term. We want to be fully transparent that Lizzie can be a handful. She is anxious, highly protective of her space, easily startled, and can bark, lunge, or react defensively when overwhelmed. She has attempted to nip at guests entering our home due to anxiety and protectiveness, though she usually calms down once she feels safe. We believe she would do best in a patient, low-stress home with minimal visitors, no other pets, and plenty of space to roam and decompress.

Story
Meet Bertie! Bertie is a sweet, playful, and energetic 5-year-old, 35-pound pup with the petite genes of his 13-pound Chihuahua mom. His dad is unknown, but we suspect a mix of Boxer, Shiba Inu, and maybe Beagle. He loves playing fetch, going on long walks, and tearing apart squeaky toys, but he's also a cuddle bug who enjoys snuggling on the couch or under the covers. House-trained and kennel-trained, Bertie knows "sit"; "lay"; and "speak"; He walks well in the city, stopping at crosswalks, though he still pulls a little. He barks when meeting new people or pets but settles quickly. He's great with older kids and dogs, fine around our infant, but untested with cats. Neutered and up-to-date on vaccines, Bertie has no known health issues. We're rehoming him due to a move and new baby, as he needs more exercise than we can provide. He would thrive in an active home where he can run, play, and get plenty of love.

Story
We have owned and loved Freddie, our 3.5 year old supermutt, since he was a small puppy. He is loving, goofy, and very well-trained dog who is equally happy to laze or adventure. He knows all of his commands: sit, stay, lay down, come/touch, go to pillow, leave it, drop it, find it, wait, get your ball. He walks calmly on leash and loves long, sniffy walks,. He is very calm in the house and loves to nap all afternoon. He is house trained and can be left home for up to ~6 hours. He has never been destructive and does not get on furniture. Freddie has confinement anxiety and doesn't do well in a crate. He is wary of strangers entering our house and also skittish around young children, and would do best in a home without little ones.

Story
Benjamin Needs a Loving Home 🐾❤️Benjamin is a loving, house-trained dog who is up to date on all of his shots. We’ve had him for about 2–3 years after rescuing him from a situation where he was sometimes left in a cage for more than 18 hours. Because of his past, we do not recommend crating him, and thankfully we’ve never needed to.Benjamin loves going for walks and car rides and is truly a good dog. He gets along well with our female dog, but unfortunately, he does not get along with one of our other dogs. The situation has become unsafe, and as much as we love Benjamin, we feel finding him the right home is the best and safest thing for everyone. We are looking for a loving, responsible home where Benjamin can be given the attention, patience, and care he deserves. We want to be completely honest about his situation so we can find the right fit.He really is a good boy and deserves a wonderful second chance. ❤️🐶
