Minnie is ~5 years old, 25 lbs, female, black and tan patterdale terrier/beagle mix (best guess). She is a sweet and friendly gal who loves to get attention from humans! Everyone she meets adores her. While she is a tripod, she does not let that hold her back, she can be energetic & playful & loves playing in the yard. After a walk, Minnie settles down for a nice nap or a cuddle in your lap. She has done well with cats in her home. She is up-to-date on vaccines, crate trained, house trained. Minnie was found by animal control in NC with a leg injury. The shelter made an urgent plea to save her life. PetConnect Rescue came to her rescue, bringing her to a foster in the DC area and giving her necessary medical care, including leg amputation. Please get in touch to fill out a non-binding application to meet Minnie OR go to www.petconnectrescue.org (search for Minnie in adopt tab). Story
Charlie is a 7 year old energetic dog who loves getting and giving attention. If you like to play with your furry family member and have energy to keep up - he is a dog for you! He loves to go on walks and will track any dog who walked that path previously. He is also very loving. He seeks out his people in the house and loves to snuggle at night. He tore his TPLO when he was younger, but it was repaired & he hasn't had any issues since as his love to run demonstrates! He has a crooked tail - a goofy little evidence that he once was a clumsy little puppy! He grew up in a house with birds, another dog, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, a lizard, and chinchillas, so he is used to other animals. He is a loving dog & I pray for another family who will give and receive as much love as I have with Charlie.

Story
Meet Jax, a 12-year-old, 40 lb sweetheart with a heart full of love. He's incredibly affectionate and forms deep bonds with his people. Jax is house-trained, knows basic commands, and is brilliantly food motivated—eager to learn new tricks for treats! He's a well-behaved companion who thrives on routine. However, Jax struggles with high anxiety in loud, unfamiliar environments and around people he doesn’t know. He becomes overwhelmed easily and, when overstressed, may snap if touched unexpectedly. For this reason, his ideal home is a calm, quiet, adult-only household with no young children. He needs a patient family who will read his body language and give him space when he needs it. Jax could peacefully coexist with a gentle, calm dog his size or smaller. In the right low-stress environment, this intelligent, food-loving senior boy will be your most loyal and loving friend, ready to spend his golden years showering you with affection.

📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. 🩷 Rescue Story Louis was rescued from the euthanasia list at "Jeongeup Shelter" in South Korea. After receiving proper medical care, including completion of heartworm treatment, he was moved into a foster home where he has been able to relax, feel safe, and show his gentle, affectionate nature. 🌿 Temperament & Behavior Louis is a sensitive and sweet dog who prefers calm environments. He does not enjoy overly energetic dogs, regardless of size. He may do well with another low-energy dog who shows little interest in him, but he is also well-suited to being the only dog in the home. With people, sudden movements—such as hands raised quickly or abrupt approaches—can be frightening for him, and this is currently being worked on through training. However, when his name is called or someone sits calmly and invites him over, Louis approaches on his own, happily cuddles up, and showers them with affection. He has no history of biting or barking at people and genuinely likes human company. His compatibility with cats has not yet been tested. 🚶 Walking & Daily Life Louis truly loves going on walks. He may start out slightly excited at the beginning, but as the walk continues, he settles down and walks nicely while matching his handler’s pace. He handles stairs well and, while traffic noises can make him a bit nervous, he does not panic or try to flee. He enjoys sniffing during walks and does not scavenge or pick up food from the ground. His shedding level is moderate, about 5 out of 10. He has no food allergies and eats well without being picky. 🏡 Habits & Training Louis uses indoor pee pads reliably (100%) and also goes potty outdoors about 85% of the time. He accepts baths and brushing calmly without resistance. He does not have separation anxiety and is comfortable staying alone. He is generally quiet and does not bark, though he may softly whine for a short moment when he is extremely excited or waiting for meals. He rides well in the car and does not appear to experience motion sickness. 💛 Likes & Personality Louis is not particularly interested in toys. Rather than high-energy play, he prefers resting quietly on his own or staying close to his person. He finds comfort in human presence and enjoys peaceful companionship. He is currently living in a foster home. 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Story
Carl is a loving 3.5-year-old lab/pittie mix (guessing!) who loves to snuggle on the couch with his people. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. He is friendly with other dogs and loves to meet new people. He is also great with children big and small. His favorite activities are sniffing in the grass and lying in the sun or next to a warm body.Carl does have digestive issues that require ongoing medication. He tends to scavenge for trash and cat waste, and it's hard on his tummy. He weighs about 60 lbs. and is about the size of a beagle or heeler.Any adoption fee will be donated to an animal shelter.
