Rick is a golden retriever hound pit mix who is very food motivated! He works outstanding with any dog he meets, he play with any dog of any size and temperament. He is protective of the family which means while in the home, he is wary of guests. He does not like to be pet directly on the head (stranger danger!) He loves to snuggle with family and he is very effectionate with children and babies. Though it may take some time for him to warm up to his new family! Hes loves to hiking, running, and general play! Due to some personal matters and our first baby we are unable to give him the quality time and play he needs. Truly wanting him to go to a nice and loving home. Please feel free to message about anything you are interested in, TIA!

Story
Chicken is a red heeler chihuahua mix with a huge personality and an even bigger love for fetch and I mean she loves it. She’s super affectionate and adores being close to her people, but she also appreciates her own space and downtime and settles well when it’s time to relax. Chicken does great with other dogs and is wonderful with kids, making her an overall amazing family dog. She’s never been around cats, so we’re not sure how she’d do in a home with them. She’s also a fantastic adventure buddy: she loves hiking, has great recall, and is the kind of dog that makes being outdoors even more fun. We recently welcomed a newborn baby, and as much as we love Chicken, we’re not able to give her the quality time, attention, and daily play she deserves right now so we’re looking for a loving home where she can get the time and companionship she needs. Neville and I have a very special bond; he was the runt of his litter, and I have cared for and nurtured him since he was only a few weeks old. Even though he is 5 years old, he really is just a puppy at heart! He is quirky, energetic, patient with kids, and just an overall great family dog. He does wonderfully around other pets and thrives in an active, loving environment. Unfortunately, due to major, unforeseen life changes, I am no longer able to give him the care and time he truly deserves. It breaks my heart to part with him, but my priority is ensuring he finds a family that can match his playful spirit and shower him with affection.

Sasha is a 5-year-old mix who’s always ready for the next adventure; she’d love to be your next hiking companion. She’s athletic, smart, and happiest when she has an outlet for her energy, so an active home that enjoys outdoor fun would be a great match for her. She enjoys a good game of tug-of-war or chase, and loves to end her day by curling up under the blankets at bedtime. She can be quite the impressive jumper, so she’ll need a secure yard or supervised outdoor time to keep her safe. Sasha already has a great training foundation—she’s housebroken, crate-trained, and knows basic commands like sit, down, and shake. She enjoys interacting with her people and thrives with activities that keep both her mind and body engaged. Sasha does need to be an only dog as she doesn’t play well with other pups. We had two older dogs when she joined the household and unfortunately they do not get along, which is why we’re making the difficult decision to rehome her.

I rescued Molly back in April. I have her birthday pegged at 2/17, so she is now at 6 months of age. She has a wonderful disposition and is a very loving and affectionate dog. Also submissive. She's getting much better with potty training. Rescuing her was more of an impulse decision on my end after my last dog passed away several months ago. She's going to be bigger than originally thought. The vet told me to expect about 90-100lbs. I have a 4 year old who has a hard time fending her off. She's not doing anything wrong, just a puppy being playful, but it's a little much for my kids to handle at the moment. I also find myself out of the home more than I should be and only have my kids half the time and I feel like she's being neglected just because we are out of the house so much. She deserves a family who are more present and ideally have a yard that she can run around in whenever she wants. I really hate to have to do this, but I believe it's what's best for Ms. Molly.

Increasing health issues and no longer able to care for this sweet girl. Adorable, cuddly, smart, silly. Tula is the best little 28lb low rider mutt you could ask for. Very easy, laid back. About 9yo. She needs slow intros with new dogs but gets along well with doggie friends. Does not need a daily walk but appreciates an occasional relaxed sniffing walk. Rides well in the car, good at the vet.Her nails are too long but otherwise, shots are up to date and she is incredibly healthy. Loves to be petted and snuggled. Crate trained but does not need to be crated. No separation anxiety, is not destructive at all.Was trained using positive reinforcement and will only be placed with someone who believes in that. No balanced trainers or users of shock, prong or choke collars. Comes with food, bowl, bed, heartworm and flea meds.Has lived with a cat in the past and did fine. No apartments. Fenced yard preferred.If you're looking for a laid back adult dog who loves to snuggle, Tula's your girl!
