Meet RAGS! Sweet Rags is about 10 years young, 42 pounds, female, black scruffy mix. She is so sweet and a friendly gal! While she is older, Rags loves to get attention from her humans. Everyone she meets adores this sweet girl! She settles down nicely to hang out with her people. Rags has great house manners, including being housetrained. Poor Rags' owner, who adopted her almost 10 years ago and adores her, can no longer take care of her sweet dog! Rags was initially confused about the loss of her owner but has adjusted and is looking for her new home to hang out in her senior years! Although she is a senior, she still has pep in her step so much love and happiness to give to her new family for many years! Rags would love to curl up at your feet to hang out on a summer evening; she loves to cuddle and get pets! She is eager to find her person(s) to love! ***Please note that our first step is to fill out an application (it does not commit you in anyway but allows us to discuss with you if you and the dog are a good fit). In addition, an important step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies ), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Rags is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. Story
Rick is a golden retriever hound pit mix who is very food motivated! He works outstanding with any dog he meets, he play with any dog of any size and temperament. He is protective of the family which means while in the home, he is wary of guests. He does not like to be pet directly on the head (stranger danger!) He loves to snuggle with family and he is very effectionate with children and babies. Though it may take some time for him to warm up to his new family! Hes loves to hiking, running, and general play! Due to some personal matters and our first baby we are unable to give him the quality time and play he needs. Truly wanting him to go to a nice and loving home. Please feel free to message about anything you are interested in, TIA!
