Story
Kali was adopted in April 2025 when I had a WFH job and plenty of time to care for her, as she is a high energy dog and LOVES fetch and long walks (3-4 miles). However, I need to work multiple jobs and will likely lose my house, where she loves to play catch/fetch in the backyard. She needs lots of exercise but is HIGHLY trainable. At dog parks she likes to play referee, but I have babysat a lot of dogs and she gets along well, playing tug of war and wrestling with in the house with zero aggression. She loves to chase squirrels on leash but is generally receptive to people if you are welcoming to them. Has no medical issues, is around 5. Uncrated in the house and has no destructive tendencies. Truly she is a phenomenal dog and it breaks my heart to rehome her, but she deserves a home with lots of time to exercise, love and train her.

We rescued Laila almost 8 years ago. We love her and are heartbroken about having to rehome her. We are an aging couple and having difficulty taking care of her. She is a sweet lovable dog. Story
Berry is about 11 months old. I got her from a rescue I found on pet finder. She was scared and injured when I got her and needed lots of care and attention to become the dog she is today. She is loving for the most part and loves everyone, but does have some pretty bad behavioral issues. She resource guards and will snap at you if you try to take her toys. She also shows signs of aggression when she feels threatened which has made it difficult to care for her the way she needs. She will need training to see if those behaviors can be fixed. In my time caring for her the behaviors have only gotten worse and I feel I am walking on eggs shells with her never knowing the next thing that will set her off, like bath time, cutting nails, giving her medicine etc. any time she feels threatened or I have to do something she doesn’t like I have the potential to be snapped at. I’m looking for a home for her where someone can put in the work to train her and become the best most loving dog.
