Story
Bean was adopted as a puppy. Her mom was supposedly a Dachshund/chihuahua mix, dad was unknown. We think she is mixed with a poodle since she has hair and needs trimming every few months. She very affectionate and loving and will lay with you all day and wants rubbing all the time. My time at work being gone long hours makes it difficult for her to have the attention she needs. All shots up to date and is great with kids. She has lots of energy which I can no longer provide her due to my schedule.

He's a sweet dog most of the time, but can be very stubborn when he wants to be. I could no longer keep him because he would always be erratic towards strangers and other dogs. And this made my tenant feel very uncomfortable. He can be very playful, I just personally could not risk his behavior worsening while I have a tenant in the home. It pains me deeply to let him go, but it must be done. Please love my boy, I'm sure he will bring joy to whoever his new family is.

Meet Henny 💕 Henny is about 2 years old and has the sweetest, most loving personality. She absolutely loves to snuggle and be close to her people. She adores humans, enjoys being outside, and does great with baths. She is not food aggressive at all and is very people-friendly. Henny is SUPER energetic and would thrive with someone who has a large, secure yard and lots of time to dedicate to her. She loves to chew and is not house trained yet. Unfortunately, we don’t have the resources for professional training, but with consistency, patience, and the right environment, she has so much potential. She would do best as the only dog, as she is not dog friendly. We love Henny deeply, and this decision is incredibly hard. We just don’t have the space or time she truly deserves. She needs an active home with someone who is committed to working with her and giving her the structure and exercise she needs to succeed. Henny will be an amazing companion for the right person ❤️

Story
Rick is a golden retriever hound pit mix who is very food motivated! He works outstanding with any dog he meets, he play with any dog of any size and temperament. He is protective of the family which means while in the home, he is wary of guests. He does not like to be pet directly on the head (stranger danger!) He loves to snuggle with family and he is very effectionate with children and babies. Though it may take some time for him to warm up to his new family! Hes loves to hiking, running, and general play! Due to some personal matters and our first baby we are unable to give him the quality time and play he needs. Truly wanting him to go to a nice and loving home. Please feel free to message about anything you are interested in, TIA!

Story
Chicken is a red heeler chihuahua mix with a huge personality and an even bigger love for fetch and I mean she loves it. She’s super affectionate and adores being close to her people, but she also appreciates her own space and downtime and settles well when it’s time to relax. Chicken does great with other dogs and is wonderful with kids, making her an overall amazing family dog. She’s never been around cats, so we’re not sure how she’d do in a home with them. She’s also a fantastic adventure buddy: she loves hiking, has great recall, and is the kind of dog that makes being outdoors even more fun. We recently welcomed a newborn baby, and as much as we love Chicken, we’re not able to give her the quality time, attention, and daily play she deserves right now so we’re looking for a loving home where she can get the time and companionship she needs. Minnie is ~5 years old, 25 lbs, female, black and tan patterdale terrier/beagle mix (best guess). She is a sweet and friendly gal who loves to get attention from humans! Everyone she meets adores her. While she is a tripod, she does not let that hold her back, she can be energetic & playful & loves playing in the yard. After a walk, Minnie settles down for a nice nap or a cuddle in your lap. She has done well with cats in her home. She is up-to-date on vaccines, crate trained, house trained. Minnie was found by animal control in NC with a leg injury. The shelter made an urgent plea to save her life.
