Adopted Arla from MOCO animal shelter. Was told she was a year old but because of her mannerisms, I believe her to be younger. I’m looking for a home that is able to offer her patience and all the love in the world (she’s a cuddler)! She’s energetic, loving, goofy, and very playful!

Story
Honey was adopted as a puppy (~3 months old) from a shelter. She was very timid & took time to come out of her shell but is a very playful & loving 6ish year old dog now. She's always been an anxious dog and hasn't ever been one to take to crate training. She loves to run & is fairly active, but is also a massive nap taker & loves burrowing under blankets & curling up next to a fireplace more than anything. Honey doesn't get into trash or chew on things she ought not. Pretty much anything (that's not food) can be out & she won't touch it if it's not hers. Honey's patience with small children has very quickly been diminishing & she needs a home where she is free of anxiety inducing munchkins & other animals. She needs plenty of love & attention in a quiet & peaceful place. Honey has some allergy and skin issues that come and go and needs someone ready & willing to make sure she is comfortable and healthy. She's reactive and anxious around other pets and does best with just her people.

Story
Micah was adopted at about 8 months old back in September 2016 from a Pet Smart adoption event. He is currently about 8 years old. He loves people and is a cuddle bug. He is energetic and needs a daily walk and play time. He loves to lounge on furniture and be with his people. He hates being left out and will bark at gates or from his crate. He has had surgery on both back legs. He has seasonal allergies (itchy and rash on stomach in summer). Although he generally likes to meet and play with other dogs, he does best being the only dog in a household. He tends to be anxious around unknown noises, things with wheels, kids and sudden movements. When he is anxious he tends to respond with fight response rather than a flight. In other words running towards the noise and barking at it. He is motivated by food and loves being touched/pet/ rubbed. Micah loves carrots, and other vegetables as well as bones of course. Micah is obsessed with picking up and carrying water bottles.

Topaz is a Podenco & her brother Terence is a galgo. They need to be adopted together. Topaz is 3 and Terence is 4.5. I unfortunately can’t afford to keep them both and I can’t separate them. They are both very sweet and gentle dogs. I would prefer someone who is older and has the time to give them the attention they deserve.

Jack - Bernadoodle male, ~ 13 mo. (April 2024) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com Jack came to rescue when his owner could no longer care for him. She has limited abilities, physically and thought she could train Jack to be her service dog. It's not worked out for her and Jack needs a home with an active person who is ready for his energy and zest for life. He's still in 'puppy mode' and is over 100#. He's used to living with other dogs but children and cats are an unknown at this time. We are looking for a home with all adults or adults and older teens. He is now fostering with a Trainer who says he's wonderful, but needs training, The Trainer says his breed will mentally mature at 2 -2 ½ yr. so lots of puppy to enjoy yet. He is crate trained, house trained and car trained. He has been groomed and understands routine husbandry. Jack's adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
