Story
Adopted Arla from MOCO animal shelter. Was told she was a year old but because of her mannerisms, I believe her to be younger. I’m looking for a home that is able to offer her patience and all the love in the world (she’s a cuddler)! She’s energetic, loving, goofy, and very playful!

Story
Hi Im looking to rehome my dog, Sage. Sage is a very sweet dog who responds well to people who are firm and assertive. She’s a nervous dog and she doesn’t respond well to other animals right away. It takes time for her to feel comfortable with kids, too. She’s never bitten anyone or any dog, but she’ll bark at them right away if she’s meeting them for the first time. Once she becomes comfortable, she is very laidback. I live with her and another dog and two cats and she gets along with them. She is house trained and never chews up anything or makes a mess. It’s a given that I hope her next home will be a safe one. I imagine someone who is able to assert loving boundaries for her to provide that safety. When she feels safe she is free to be herself. When she is herself, she is quite joyous.

Story
Micah was adopted at about 8 months old back in September 2016 from a Pet Smart adoption event. He is currently about 8 years old. He loves people and is a cuddle bug. He is energetic and needs a daily walk and play time. He loves to lounge on furniture and be with his people. He hates being left out and will bark at gates or from his crate. He has had surgery on both back legs. He has seasonal allergies (itchy and rash on stomach in summer). Although he generally likes to meet and play with other dogs, he does best being the only dog in a household. He tends to be anxious around unknown noises, things with wheels, kids and sudden movements. When he is anxious he tends to respond with fight response rather than a flight. In other words running towards the noise and barking at it. He is motivated by food and loves being touched/pet/ rubbed. Micah loves carrots, and other vegetables as well as bones of course. Micah is obsessed with picking up and carrying water bottles.

Story
Oliver is a very sweet, if occasionally cantankerous, old gentleman. He’s likely about 14 years old but still demands three good walks a day and has plenty of silliness left in him. He likes to “supervise” and is nearly always underfoot when there are no available laps to curl up in. He has been around children, other dogs and even lived with a young, mischievous cat for several years; however, he prefers to not have to compete for his person’s attention. He can be a little vocal and leash reactive, but responds well to training. According to the breed dna test he’s part yorkie and part australian terrier …the yorkie is definitely in there!

Story
Zeus was a stray and is at least 10, maybe 12 years old. He loves his walks and chasing his ball and has a lot of energy when outside but he’s also happy to be petted while sleeping on the sofa. He doesn’t like other dogs but likes people and wants to say hi to everyone. He’s very protective of his human but loves anyone who will pet him or give him a biscuit. One owner recently died and the other has moved into assisted living and can’t care for him.

Story
Zena hasn’t met you yet, but she already adores you, your spouse, your parents, your children, your neighbors, and your neighbors’ children. She is a tail-wagging, human-loving, so-happy-you-give-belly rubs litte cuddle princess. She can't wait to join you on your next walk or just nap alongside you during your next movie night. Thousands of years of breeding have prepared her to take her rightful place as your loyal best friend and love bug for life. When she goes for walks, everyone she meets swoons over her beautiful gray coat and pretty white paws. She loves the attention and is more than happy to lean in for a scratch behind the ears. At home, she loves to look out the window and observe the outside. Fortunately, she doesn't bark much. She can softly alert you to a visitor while keeping the peace in your home. She sleeps well in her doggie bed at the foot of the bed. She is also more than happy to share a bed with you, and she is good about sleeping through the night. She appre
