Meet Sully — a charming, family-friendly gentle giant who's a lover through and through. He's a big, fluffy teddy bear, literally, and he's as gentle and sweet as he looks. Sully loves to be loved on, and he's people-motivated to the core — he just wants to be wherever you are. He comes when called or whenever he hears his people, and he'll sit for a jerky treat. He's potty trained, leash trained, and crate trained, doesn't bark, and doesn't get into things he shouldn't. An easy, easy companion. His favorite spot is the cold floor with the A/C on. No bed needed — he says they're too hot anyway. Sully is a committed couch potato who doesn't care for the heat, doesn't want to be outside in it for more than two minutes, and isn't one for much exercise. He's an all-around chill guy who's easy to manage. He's good with other dogs, too. He doesn't care to play, but he's friendly and relaxed around them. One honest heads-up: there's drool. Lots of it. Hi! My name is Venus! I am 4 years old, and 77lbs! I am full grown. I am a spayed female who is microchipped, heartworm tested and fully vaccinated. My adoption fee has been sponsored by a lovely donor, so I am FREE to go home! Feel free to visit me at the animal shelter Monday through Friday 11 AM to 5PM and Saturdays 10 AM to 2PM.With a gorgeous fluffy coat and big expressive eyes, I’ve got a look as striking as my namesake. I’m the kind of dog people stop and stare at, in the best way.I’ve got moderate energy, happy with a good backyard romp but just as content to settle in afterward. I’m an affectionate girl at heart, and I warm right up to new people. I’ve got great house manners too. I haven’t spent time with kids yet, but I’d love the chance to be part of a family. I do best as my family’s only dog, ask a staff member for more details there, and I’d prefer a cat-free household.I’m currently on a diet to help me reach my healthiest weight, nothing serious, just a little extra care. Bowie is a handsome 4-year-old short-coat English Bull Terrier (not a pit) + Great Pyrenees mix with a sweet face and a heart that deserves all the love in the world. He has been a deeply loved companion, and finding him a new home is one of the hardest decisions our family has had to make. Through no fault of his own, changing work schedules and a move to an apartment mean we need to find Bowie a home where he can continue to thrive and be the wonderful companion he is. Bowie gets along well with other dogs, but he’s also perfectly happy being the only pup soaking up his family's love. Whether he’s sharing his space with a furry friend or enjoying life as someone's one-and-only, he has the potential to make a wonderful addition to the right home. We hope it is one filled with cuddles and naps that he always enjoys with his special people. Comes w/ his crate, dog bed, and food for transition + 6 FrontLine treatments
