My family originally saved Ammo from being euthanized at a pound he was dropped off at after his original owners gave him up due to him being bigger than they anticipated. He has lived with us for the past 6 years and is great with kids. My son was a baby when we first got him and Ammo loved laying with him and playing with him outside as he got older. Ammo loves short walks and loves to be loved on; He will be your best couch mate! Ammo does not do well with cats. He has some dog aggression so it would be best if he was in an only pet household but is incredibly sweet and all of his great features will flourish in the right home. This is Tess. She is such a sweet girl. She has had a rough life as a stray. You can tell she has had many litters, She is with us now and all that is over! She has regular meals and a warm place to sleep while she waits on her forever home. She has a very happy and friendly disposition. She loves people despite the horrible neglect she's endured. She isn't a young dog but not a senior either. We estimate her to be about 5 years old. After only one week with us, Marvel (the Pyr shot with the arrow) is relaxing and beginning to trust. Like a scared toddler when he first arrived, he would put his head to the ground and close his eyes when approached. He no longer does that! And i LOVE that every morning he wags his tail and bobs his head (sometimes Pyr talking) with happiness when he sees me and my husband. Marvel is a beautiful boy with a proper Pyr personality! Intelligent, gentle, observant, a bit strong-willed, and at times aloof! For all he has been through, it is amazing how he is adapting to the present! Sweet Marvel is improving every day and gaining his confidence in humans back. He is a sweet boy, healing his poor neglected and then shot body. Found shot with an arrow, hiding under a parked vehicle for safety. Poor guy was bleeding and in pain. He was rushed to the ER and thankfully it didn't hit any major organs, and they were able to get it out completely.
