Meet Sully — a charming, family-friendly gentle giant who's a lover through and through. He's a big, fluffy teddy bear, literally, and he's as gentle and sweet as he looks. Sully loves to be loved on, and he's people-motivated to the core — he just wants to be wherever you are. He comes when called or whenever he hears his people, and he'll sit for a jerky treat. He's potty trained, leash trained, and crate trained, doesn't bark, and doesn't get into things he shouldn't. An easy, easy companion. His favorite spot is the cold floor with the A/C on. No bed needed — he says they're too hot anyway. Sully is a committed couch potato who doesn't care for the heat, doesn't want to be outside in it for more than two minutes, and isn't one for much exercise. He's an all-around chill guy who's easy to manage. He's good with other dogs, too. He doesn't care to play, but he's friendly and relaxed around them. One honest heads-up: there's drool. Lots of it. Don’t let my age fool you—I still love leisurely walks, relaxing with my people, and soaking up belly rubs and ear scratches. My favorite thing in the world? SNACKS! 😁I’m gentle, calm, and great with kids and other animals. I’m also a loyal protector who will let you know when someone is at the door…or when a suspicious leaf lands across the yard! Story
Marshall is about 5 years old and has been with us since we rescued him from a shelter 4.5 years ago. He’s about 95 lbs, possibly a Lab/Great Pyrenees mix. He loves cuddles, attention, lounging outside, and walks, and he does great on a leash. He lives with our other Lab and two young kids, gets along well with our dog, and mostly ignores the children. Marshall is a wonderful dog, but he’s high maintenance. He’s anxious about many things (water, the vet, hot air balloons, and sometimes even familiar things like his crate), has allergies that can lead to yeast infections, has had a few seizures over the past 3 years, and sheds a lot. We believe Marshall would thrive with a family that has a little land, older kids to play with, and the time to provide the attention and routine medical care he needs. We love him deeply, and this has been an incredibly difficult decision, but we know he deserves a home that better fits his needs.
