Hi! I'm Obi! I am a 2 year old male Newfoundland/Lab mix that weighs approx. 66 lbs. I was surrendered due to my previous family no longer being able to care for me. I am good with other dogs but a meet and greet is suggested prior to adoption if you have another dog in the home. I walk pretty well on a leash and am willing to learn basic commands. I would do best in an adult only home or one with children who are older than 16 years old. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and am heartworm negative. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete an online adoption application on our website at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. Koda is just a big fluffy teddy bear really. With the calm demeanor often seen in his breed, he is very human oriented and will follow you wherever you go. He is big, but does not have a huge energy level, so a nice walk every day, time in the yard or dog park will definitely make this sweet guy happy. Can you bring him home for the holidays? Patou combines the majestic looks of a Great Pyr with the easier maintenance shorter coat of a lab in one great 50-lbs package, well for right now. Hard to say how big the "package" will be when fully grown, but we would think at least 80-90 lbs. Right now, he is just a goofy puppy who loves to play, eat, sleep, repeat. He gets along phenomenally with all his dog and people friends at the rescue and will be a wonderful addition to an active home with a big yard. Could it be yours?
