Story
Meet Sully — a charming, family-friendly gentle giant who's a lover through and through. He's a big, fluffy teddy bear, literally, and he's as gentle and sweet as he looks. Sully loves to be loved on, and he's people-motivated to the core — he just wants to be wherever you are. He comes when called or whenever he hears his people, and he'll sit for a jerky treat. He's potty trained, leash trained, and crate trained, doesn't bark, and doesn't get into things he shouldn't. An easy, easy companion. His favorite spot is the cold floor with the A/C on. No bed needed — he says they're too hot anyway. Sully is a committed couch potato who doesn't care for the heat, doesn't want to be outside in it for more than two minutes, and isn't one for much exercise. He's an all-around chill guy who's easy to manage. He's good with other dogs, too. He doesn't care to play, but he's friendly and relaxed around them. One honest heads-up: there's drool. Lots of it. If you want a calm, affectionate companion who just wants people to love on, Sully is your guy. Interested in learning more and making Sully a part of your family? Story
Meet Porter! This handsome 3 month old Anatolian Shepherd mix weighs an impressive 38 pounds and is ready to find his forever home. Porter was found near I 30 and John King and was never reclaimed. Named in honor of Porter Wagoner, Dolly Parton's longtime musical partner who played an important role in the beginning of her career, we think this big country boy has a pretty fitting name! Porter is still very much a puppy and will need a family prepared for potty training, leash work, basic manners, socialization, structure, supervision, and all the normal puppy energy and mischief that come with his age. As a large breed puppy, he will also need continued training, enrichment, and regular veterinary care as he grows. Porter's adoption fee is $125 and includes his neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, and boosters to date. He is required to return on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, for his neuter and rabies vaccine. This appointment is nonnegotiable and required in accordance with Texas State law. An approved online adoption application is required for meet and greets and adoption. If you think you and Porter might just be the right combination, apply to adopt him at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. September 5, 2026, 12:04 pm

Story
Arctic Cove is an 8 year old Great Pyrenees that was born 4/28/2028. He has been part of my family since he was 10 weeks old. He loves people and eats homemade meals most times. He's a beautiful and gentle dog. About a month ago, he sustained a complete fracture to the left front leg sometimes in the middle of the night in my backyard while I was at work. The cameras footages did not show any intruders. No surgery was done, so he now walks with a limp. I am looking someone with patience and love to adopt him and kept indoors. He eats twice a day and snack at night or in between meals.
