Story
Bella 6 is a full Landseer Newfoundland that has been loved and cared for since she was a puppy. She is now 9 years old and finds herself needing a forever home. She is current on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and spayed. Bella 6 is in excellent health as far as we know. She has no issues getting up and down. She is just looking for a wonderful home that will give her love and attention. She is an owner surrender because the family felt they did not have time for her. She is approximately 100 pounds, which is on the small size for a Newfoundland. However, she is a female which are usually smaller than the males. If you feel that you have the room and time to give this gorgeous girl a fabulous home for her remaining years, we hope you will open your heart up for her. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of Newfoundlands and the safety of your children. Our Newfoundlands are not aggressive or mean in any way, they can just knock down children easily. If you would like to visit our pups please contact St. Cloud's Rescue at www.stcloudsrescue.org or call 972-679-5319. The first step in adopting from St. Cloud's Rescue is to complete an application. The application may be found OUR WEBSITE at www.stcloudsrescue.org. Please click on the application process, complete, and then email it. Once the application has been sent, please call us to confirm that we have received it. St.Cloud's Rescue maintains the right to deny applications to anyone for any reason we see fit. St. Cloud Rescue is a non-profit 501-c-3 organization. St. Clouds Rescue requires new owners to purchase a one-year supply of heart worm preventative from us, which is at cost. We require a home visit prior to all placements. All our dogs must be microchipped at a cost of $20.00. There is a $500.00 donation fee. All dogs adopted through St Clouds Rescue must be indoors. Newfoundlands cannot tolerate the Texas heat.

Story
Meet Barney! This pup was wondering around our community for weeks as a stray. Catching him wasn’t easy but let me tell ya, now that he’s had a taste of AC he’s never going back to the stray life haha. Barney in typical Great Pyrenees fashion is an absolute LOVER. He wants do be near his humans and he wants that Pyr fur all over you! Great with dogs big and small although not super playful. Definitely more of a wallflower with the occasional zoomie. Leash work is still a work in progress which for this breed is a lifelong project. What he lacks in that department however he makes up for in looks and charm. -House/Crate Trained -Good with other dogs -Over the top loving -Moderate energy -Loves being with his human. Barney is such a sweet and well tempered boy that woudl do best in a quiet house, as he can be a nervous nelly. We do not ships dog out of state. All adopters must travel to Dallas to meet their potential animal in person before moving forward with an adoption trial run.

Meet Champ &#194&#150 The Goofy Gentleman & Adventure Pro! Been looking for a big dog with an even bigger heart (and just the right amount of mischief)? Look no further &#194&#151 Champ is your guy! This 1-year-old, 71-lb Anatolian Shepherd mix was found near S. Goliad in Rockwall, but no one came to claim him. A Quick Heads-Up: Champ is a clever and curious boy who loves to explore, so he'll need a secure wood privacy fence at least 8 feet tall to safely enjoy his backyard adventures. No chain link or short fencing &#194&#151 this guy has hops and a nose for fun! Why You'll Love Champ: Total lovebug &#194&#150 lives for snuggles and being near his people, Leash pro &#194&#150 walks like a champ (pun intended), Loves toys, zoomies, & comfy nap spots, greets everyone with a wag and that signature goofy grin, and would thrive with a family who's home often! Might do well with another dog &#194&#151 just needs a meet & greet to be sure! Neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines Heartworm positive, but treatment is covered thanks to Rockwall PAWS! Ready to add some joy, loyalty, and lovable goofiness to your life?
