Story
Please apply for adoption to schedule an appointment to meet Eddie! 🐾 Eddie is an adorable little guy looking for a special person to call his own. Eddie was adopted as a puppy and spent years in a loving home. Sadly, through no fault of his own, he found himself back at the rescue and is now hoping to find the forever home he truly deserves. This little guy loves the simple things in life—curling up beside you on the couch, soaking up snuggles, and being your loyal companion. He walks beautifully on a leash without reacting to other dogs or people, enjoys playing fetch (he's still perfecting the "bring it back" part!), rides wonderfully in the car, is potty trained, and happily uses a doggy door. Eddie also gets along well with other dogs and has successfully lived with a cat. Eddie previously shared a quiet home with an elderly woman, where it was just the two of them. Because of that, he truly thrives as a devoted one-on-one companion. He forms deep bonds with his person and naturally sees himself as their little guardian. He takes a little time to warm up to new people, and even after he's comfortable, he may still feel the need to look out for the person he loves. Eddie's ideal home would be with a single woman who works from home or is retired and is looking for a faithful little shadow to share life with. He'll need someone who understands that trust takes time and is willing to give him the patience, consistency, and love he deserves. Once you've earned Eddie's trust, you'll have a devoted best friend who will fill your days with companionship, loyalty, and all the unconditional love his little heart has to give. ❤️

Story
Meet Winnie (Winifred)! 🐾Winnie is a sweet 2-year-old papillon/rat terrier mix with soulful double-merle eyes that seem to look straight into your soul. She's deaf, but her eyes do all the listening, she's incredibly affectionate and tuned into the people around her. She's a total snuggle bug who loves everyone: dogs, cats, kids, lizards, snakes, birds, if it breathes, she'll cuddle it. She will find her way onto your lap, and she'll happily take 12 straight hours of belly rubs if you let her.Fully house trained, knows how to use a dog door, and has a little extra cozy padding on her. Healthy, happy, and full of love.I'm rehoming her because I'm moving to Mexico and can't take her with me, this is one of the hardest decisions I've made, and I want her in a home where she'll be cherished.Loyal, snuggly, and good with everyone, Winnie might be your perfect match! 💕

Story
Meet Momo  Momo is a charming 4-year-old Papillon weighing about 10 pounds. He came to us from a hoarding situation, arriving very shy and scared, but he has blossomed into a happy, friendly, loving, and absolutely adorable little dog. Momo still needs a patient adopter who will give him time to adjust to new surroundings and continue building his confidence. Once he feels safe, his sweet personality truly shines—he especially loves curling up and sleeping on your neck, making him the ultimate cuddle companion. He was given a few too many treats before coming into rescue, so he’s a bit chunky right now and would ideally be closer to 8 pounds with proper diet and exercise. Momo is neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccines, and he’s ready to find his forever home. Adoption Fee: $450 Applications can be found at www.secondleashonlife.org If you’re looking for a loving little companion who just needs a bit of patience and kindness, Momo could be the perfect match for you.   ##2794486##

Story
Karl Barx Is so much like his brother Beowoof, Both are from Hesperia Shelter we were able to rescue Beowoof first as his brother Karl Barx Was already adopted… A few days after a rescuing Beowoof We got a call from the Hesperia Shelter saying his brother Karl Barx Was returned to the shelter which put him in immediate risk Well, we were not gonna let that happen so currently Karl Barx is with a Foster and Beowoof is also with another. Foster.  The brothers seem to be very loving, but also extremely sensitive to their environment. Intuitive, smart and wonderful dogs that would thrive in an environment with another dog in a non-chaotic household.  Karl Barx Is learning to be crate trained is working on house training loves to go for walks.  Karl Barx is about 19 - 20 lbs He Is two years old and will be neutered shortly has had all his shots and rabies, dewormed, flea and tech meds have already been administered He is a gorgeous boy. He is a kind and loving Boy.   For more information contact 949-842-2517 Home checks are part of the process as well and to fill out an application go to https://greendogfoundation.org/application-for-adoption/    August 4, 2026, 2:15 pm

Story
Meet Beowoof! Rescued from Hesperia Shelter by GreenDog Foundation Beowoof is a sweet, gentle 2-year-old, 20-pound boy who was shutting down in the shelter. Now safe in foster care, he’s beginning to blossom. He’s came from the shelter with kennel cough and will be neutered once he’s fully healthy. Every day he’s gaining confidence—going from pancaking on the ground to happily following a calm dog on a long lead. He’s making wonderful progress! Beowoof is a sensitive soul who would thrive in a quiet home with adults or older children 14 yrs who will give him the time and patience to adjust. He’s a little underweight, but his appetite is great and he’s doing better every day. Available for adoption in a couple of weeks after he heals from scheduled neuter. 949-842-2517 greendogfoundation@gmail.com Please live in Orange County or the surrounding Southern California area. Home checks are part of the adoption process.
