This is a COURTESY LISTING for another rescue. Please contact Pam at the number or email listed below. ARRF strives to help other rescues get a wider audience of potential adopters by adding their animals to our sites. Bodie is a darling 1-1/2-year-old neutered male Papillon/Shetland Sheepdog mix who was rescued locally. His coloring is white/brown/black with orange speckles, and he weighs about 20 lbs. He is very calm, quiet, inquisitive and ready for fun. He gets along well with other dogs, is curious and wants to learn. Bodie would be great with someone with a loving heart and some patience. He has been wormed, is up-to-date with his Distemper/Parvo shots, and is house-trained. Medical records will be provided to his adopter. Bodie's rehoming fee is $250. Bodie is being fostered in the East County of San Diego. To meet Bodie, call or text Pam at (619) 964-1181, or email Pam.Lawless@gcccd.edu and Ill explain his interesting behavior.

Story
Please apply for adoption to schedule an appointment to meet Eddie! 🐾 Eddie is an adorable little guy looking for a special person to call his own. Eddie was adopted as a puppy and spent years in a loving home. Sadly, through no fault of his own, he found himself back at the rescue and is now hoping to find the forever home he truly deserves. This little guy loves the simple things in life—curling up beside you on the couch, soaking up snuggles, and being your loyal companion. He walks beautifully on a leash without reacting to other dogs or people, enjoys playing fetch (he's still perfecting the "bring it back" part!), rides wonderfully in the car, is potty trained, and happily uses a doggy door. Eddie also gets along well with other dogs and has successfully lived with a cat. Eddie previously shared a quiet home with an elderly woman, where it was just the two of them. Because of that, he truly thrives as a devoted one-on-one companion. He forms deep bonds with his person and naturally sees himself as their little guardian. He takes a little time to warm up to new people, and even after he's comfortable, he may still feel the need to look out for the person he loves. Eddie's ideal home would be with a single woman who works from home or is retired and is looking for a faithful little shadow to share life with. He'll need someone who understands that trust takes time and is willing to give him the patience, consistency, and love he deserves. Once you've earned Eddie's trust, you'll have a devoted best friend who will fill your days with companionship, loyalty, and all the unconditional love his little heart has to give. ❤️

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cameron was returned this summer - 9 months after he was adopted! Now he's looking for a REAL forever family.  Cameron is best described as a Cat-Dog. Much like a cat Cameron is happy on his own, and likes to be petted - but when he's ready. He isn't gonna try to steal the spotlight because he'd much rather hang out on his own - until he's comfortable. If you are looking for a fast friend, this is NOT the dog for you. But if you want to invest the time and let the dog feel relaxed and safe, he will repay you by letting you pet his chin. Cameron will do really well in a home with another small dog to help him feel more comfortable, or with a human that won't put too much pressure on him to be their friend. He is leash trained, crate trained and will need a dog savvy adopter. =============================================================== Originally, Cameron came to us after his owner was evicted and decided to abandon the house full of animals when they left.  Cameron and the two pack mates that we pulled with him were terrified. It's been 9 months and these cutie pies are available for adoption.  Cameron is the slowest to come around of the 3 dogs we pulled. While he is more comfortable hanging out by himself he does like people.  Cameron absolutely loves to run around the yard, and the more you praise how fast he is, the faster he runs - with a smile! Cameron is still shy and needs an owner that will go slow with him, but still apply a little bit of pressure. If you'd like to meet Cameron, come on down to our adoption center.
