He lives in a foster home with both large and small dogs and loves his canine friends. He is VERY easy to introduce to new dogs. He is shy with new people but super loving and goofy once you know him and it does not take long to win his trust. He is house trained and crate trained so ready to find a wonderful home! Ruby was found as a stray here in Burbank. She is a lovable german shepherd mix who adores people and should do great with kids as long as they are respectful, however, in her excitement may knock down little ones. We recently added Ruby to our Dogs Playing for Life Playgroup and though she can be a little overwhelmed by high energy dogs quickly found herself to be a PLAYGROUP ROCKSTAR. A meet and greet is required if you already have dogs in the household. We are not sure about cats, potentially with a slow introduction she may learn to coexist with them. If there are cats in the household we highly reccommend a fostering to adopt so that Ruby can have a trial period with the felines in the home before her adopter fully commits to her.Ruby is currently in a foster home. The foster family say she is a sweet dog. She needs some leash training but they are working on it. Beginning of last year, some heartless person dumped Luna and her 9 newborn puppies in the freezing cold in Riverside. Thankfully, someone found her. After 3-4 months all of the puppies found amazing homes. Luna is the most loving dog with people. She’s super independent, potty trained, very food motivated, and loves giving kisses. Ruegar’s owner just passed away and made no arrangements for this beautiful boy. A group of caring people are trying to prevent him from going to local shelter which is at critical capacity with large dogs. At 8 years old he weighs around 90lbs. Very friendly with people. He did live with another large dog at one point. He is neutered and current on vaccines. We are not sure if he’s housetrained as he spent most of time outside. We do not know how he is with children or cats. He would do best in an adult home with large dog experience. Belgian Malinois are extremely smart and thrive in an environment with lots of continued training and mental stimulation. They are frequently trained as police K9 dogs or service dogs because they need a job to do and keep their brain busy. This breed is not suitable for someone without large dog experience or working breed/high energy experience. Zeus would do best in a large yard with secure high fencing and someone with an active lifestyle. He would be perfect for someone who runs daily or goes hiking regularly. Zeus would do best in a household with older teens who have been around high energy dogs before. She is at a very mischievous age, so she is doing well with Crate training- which is key to her continued success. She loves to walk, and is well behaved on the leash- curious about other dogs and people, but also a little timid about new things or sharp noises. She will do well in a home that can provide lots of regular exercise and mental stimulation, understanding humans willing to work with her teenager stage and give her clear boundaries, and ideally a yard or regular playtime outside.
