Story
Meet Violet Violet found herself in a scary shelter, giving birth to 10 puppies. One look into her eyes told us everything—we knew she needed to be saved. We quickly rescued Violet and her whole little family and brought them to LOLA's Rescue. Right now, Violet is undergoing treatment for heartworm. She’s not feeling her best—heartworm is no joke—and what she needs most is a calm, cozy home where she can rest, gain some weight, and finally decompress. Because she's still in treatment, she hasn’t met other dog friends yet—we’re letting her heal at her own pace. Violet is so deserving of a foster-to-adopt family that can love her through her recovery and into a healthy, happy life. If you’d like to meet Violet and be her safe place, please reach out to us at 303-343-1031. Let’s help this sweet mama find the peace and comfort she’s been waiting for. Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com We are open by appointment only at this time. Please text 303-343-1031 or email Info@lolarescue.com to schedule an appointment. You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.  ##2274550##

Story
Say Howdy to Daryl and Jessie! Their owner had to surrender them after an unexpected medical condition left him unable to care for them.  This bonded pair are only a year apart, and have been raised together since puppyhood so we really want to keep them together! He’s a little bit country and she’s a little bit rock-n-roll, but they go together like peas and carrots!  Daryl is a laid-back, handsome brindle with a sweet, calm demeanor, and gives the best dog hugs ever! The true hound that he is, he loves long walks with his nose to the ground or in the air to make sure those pesky squirrels stay up in the trees.  But don’t let him fool you, he has a funny, mischievous side as well.  If his nose can reach it, his mouth can eat it, but only when you’re not looking.   While Daryl is happy moseying along, Jessie’s ready to put the pedal to the metal.   She puts the “sass” in sassafras!   When this girl gets excited, clear the floor, ‘cause she likes to dance like no one’s watching!  This little fashionista somehow matched her eyes to her coat, she’s a real beauty!  But there’s nothing she loves more than snuggling up with you on the couch.  That is, once you move her over an inch and squeeze in beside her.  She’s not giving up her spot easily! They may be polar opposites, but they agree that they are looking for somebody with a lot of love to give…and treats(bones)…and cuddles…and belly/butt rubs and, oh yeah, a big yard would be great because, well, they’re not the best on leash, but they’re getting better!   April 21, 2025, 5:26 pm

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! Hi, I am Simba! King of the house! I am proud to be a Plott Hound mix and the bestest boy ever! I love to cuddle with my people and play with my foster's other dogs. My best friend is my foster's husky, who is the same age as me! I am a bit shy meeting new people and ask that you give me patience and maybe some treats while I warm up. I get along with all dogs big and small. I have been around a cat and was curious but the cat didn’t want anything to do with me. I’m good with older kids. I am a bit stubborn but motivated with food. The crate/pin isn't my favorite, but I am okay as long as I have some toys to play with. I love balls and toys that make crunchy noises. I have minimal house accidents and am still working on commands. I like to sleep in the room with you and sometimes ask to sleep in the bed. I do love to cuddle on the couch while watching tv. I'm up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. I'd love to meet you, apply today! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming   ##1994431##

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Introducing Lisa, the embodiment of love and a graduate of the board & train program. This 4-year-old Plott Hound mix is an absolute sweetheart, and cuddling up with her is the perfect way to spend any day. With her friendly and playful nature, she's a true people pleaser and a joy to have around. Lisa's intelligence shines through as she showcases her impressive skills like sit, down, stay, and come on command. She's a quick learner and enjoys pleasing her humans with her abilities. She loves going on walks and sniffing all the sniffs. But make sure you ALWAYS have a doggie bag handy! This lovely brindle-colored beauty weighs around 60 lbs, and is equal parts spunky lady and lazy house dog. She's crate trained and house trained, making her a well-mannered addition to any home. Lisa is good with kids and enjoys their company. She loves to be near her humans and is very loyal. Her favorite place to be is laying next to you with her head in your lap. If you let her, she’ll even sit on your lap!  She gets along with all types of dogs, regardless of their gender or breed. She loves to play and wrestle, but can also entertain herself with a beloved toy. She would also love it if her human tosses a ball in the air so that she can show off her acrobatics as she jumps up after it. Lisa's greatest wish is to find a loving forever home where she can be showered with affection and enjoy playtime to her heart's content. She has been waiting patiently for this chance for far too long, and she truly deserves a place to call her own. Rest assured, Lisa is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped, ready to join her forever family. Story
Our little blue-eyed Scout is a goofy guy! He is so fun and loving and curls right into you when you pick him up, as he loves to be held and cuddled. He has some shorter legs and an expression that looks like a sneer but is actually a lovable smile. He is jubilant and joyful, silly and loyal. We do believe there is some sort of schnauzer or terrier in there somewhere as his nose is quite noteworthy. His colors are starting to come out as he gets older,m which is why you see the black mark by his eye - the "leopard spots". He is going to be an amazing companion!

Story
Eden is a little darling for sure! She wants to know everything about everything, and does not want to miss out on anything! She plays so well with her brother and the other dogs, is highly intelligent, and is quite petite actually. She is about three months old and weighs about 11 pounds, so we do believe she will be on the smaller side of medium. She loves to be held and get attention and sleeps all night in her crate with her brother! She cannot wait to meet you!
