Story
Meet Jethro! This beautiful almost 7 month-old Plott Hound mix around 42 lbs, that has a stunning black and brown brindle coat and the sweetest, most soulful Golden eyes. He’s playful, gentle, and just starting to discover how much fun the world can be. Jethro is a bit on the timid side, but he’s gaining confidence every day. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would do best in a home with a confident canine companion to help guide him and bring out his playful side. He’s still working on his leash skills and adjusting to new experiences, so a calm, patient home will help him thrive. If you’re looking for a lovable young pup with tons of potential and a heart full of love, Jethro might be your perfect match!

Hi, I'm Corina! I'm a 2 year old Plott Hound and am ready to find my forever family. I am very sweet and absolutely love people. I do well with other pups, am great on leash, am crate trained, house trained, and above all else a big couch potato! My fosters adore me and say I will be the perfect addition to most any family. I would be a perfect adventure buddy or family pup. I am around 55 lbs and am looking for someone to give all my love to. Could that be you?

Story
Xolo  9/16/25 | Stray Intake | Plott hound Mix | Neutered Male | 5M | 22.8 lbs | HW NEG/NAD Received first DA2PP on 9/16, second one on 10/08 & third one is due on or after 10/22  So cute: https://youtube.com/shorts/ag9T9NZKEBA Playing with foster brother: https://youtu.be/XMIAnnkn-_o Knows sit: https://youtube.com/shorts/jqH9ndlCJ-A Volunteer Notes: Sweet Xolo is such a fun puppy to be around! He’s so playful and sweet. He kept his attention on me at all times. He really seem to enjoy the attention being given to him. I tried playing with a toy with him but he didn’t really seem to know what to do with it! I’m sure with time he’d be a wonderful playmate! He walked well on the leash (was able to take him out despite his age as staff told me he already had both boosters) He got super excited next to other dogs as if he wanted to play with them. His colors are gorgeous which is what made me go see him. He also has the cutest thing where one ear is up and the other is down! Great puppy!! Foster notes:  One of my easiest fosters to date!  Loves playing with his foster brother Jax Seems to be potty trained.. he only went potty once inside and it was when I was cooking, he scratched at back door and I didnt open it in time! Loves water/baths, just stood there and even laid on his back for belly scratches.  So happy to eat, wags his tail the entire time  No resource guarding that i noticed Slept in a kennel ALL night, didnt make a sound.  Havent seen with children or cats.  knows how to sit He transitioned into a house super easy for being in Barc for I believe a month.    Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com/available-animals please note if you utilize an Iphone there are two scroll bars on the side of the screen to scroll down through available animals.   You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.  ##2592744##

Story
Say Howdy to Daryl and Jessie! Their owner had to surrender them after an unexpected medical condition left him unable to care for them.  This bonded pair are only a year apart, and have been raised together since puppyhood so we really want to keep them together! He’s a little bit country and she’s a little bit rock-n-roll, but they go together like peas and carrots!  Daryl is a laid-back, handsome brindle with a sweet, calm demeanor, and gives the best dog hugs ever! The true hound that he is, he loves long walks with his nose to the ground or in the air to make sure those pesky squirrels stay up in the trees.  But don’t let him fool you, he has a funny, mischievous side as well.  If his nose can reach it, his mouth can eat it, but only when you’re not looking.   While Daryl is happy moseying along, Jessie’s ready to put the pedal to the metal.   She puts the “sass” in sassafras!   When this girl gets excited, clear the floor, ‘cause she likes to dance like no one’s watching!  This little fashionista somehow matched her eyes to her coat, she’s a real beauty!  But there’s nothing she loves more than snuggling up with you on the couch.  That is, once you move her over an inch and squeeze in beside her.  She’s not giving up her spot easily! They may be polar opposites, but they agree that they are looking for somebody with a lot of love to give…and treats(bones)…and cuddles…and belly/butt rubs and, oh yeah, a big yard would be great because, well, they’re not the best on leash, but they’re getting better!   April 21, 2025, 5:26 pm

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! Hi, I am Simba! King of the house! I am proud to be a Plott Hound mix and the bestest boy ever! I love to cuddle with my people and play with my foster's other dogs. My best friend is my foster's husky, who is the same age as me! I am a bit shy meeting new people and ask that you give me patience and maybe some treats while I warm up. I get along with all dogs big and small. I have been around a cat and was curious but the cat didn’t want anything to do with me. I’m good with older kids. I am a bit stubborn but motivated with food. The crate/pin isn't my favorite, but I am okay as long as I have some toys to play with. I love balls and toys that make crunchy noises. I have minimal house accidents and am still working on commands. I like to sleep in the room with you and sometimes ask to sleep in the bed. I do love to cuddle on the couch while watching tv. I'm up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. I'd love to meet you, apply today! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming   ##1994431##

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Introducing Lisa, the embodiment of love and a graduate of the board & train program. This 4-year-old Plott Hound mix is an absolute sweetheart, and cuddling up with her is the perfect way to spend any day. With her friendly and playful nature, she's a true people pleaser and a joy to have around. Lisa's intelligence shines through as she showcases her impressive skills like sit, down, stay, and come on command. She's a quick learner and enjoys pleasing her humans with her abilities. She loves going on walks and sniffing all the sniffs. But make sure you ALWAYS have a doggie bag handy! This lovely brindle-colored beauty weighs around 60 lbs, and is equal parts spunky lady and lazy house dog. She's crate trained and house trained, making her a well-mannered addition to any home. Lisa is good with kids and enjoys their company. She loves to be near her humans and is very loyal. Her favorite place to be is laying next to you with her head in your lap. If you let her, she’ll even sit on your lap!  She gets along with all types of dogs, regardless of their gender or breed. She loves to play and wrestle, but can also entertain herself with a beloved toy. She would also love it if her human tosses a ball in the air so that she can show off her acrobatics as she jumps up after it. Lisa's greatest wish is to find a loving forever home where she can be showered with affection and enjoy playtime to her heart's content. She has been waiting patiently for this chance for far too long, and she truly deserves a place to call her own. Rest assured, Lisa is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped, ready to join her forever family.
