Basil is a loving female dog who is in need of a nurturing home. This affectionate and funny dog is known for being gentle and smart, but independent. She is loyal to her loved ones and very friendly around strangers, but she is also protective and playful. Basil is an incredibly curious dog who enjoys napping on the couch. She loves to cuddle up with her humans and protect them from any potential danger. While Basil's breed is unknown to us, we believe her to be a mix of Plott Hound and Pitbull Terrier and or some labrador retriever. Basil is 3 Years old. She has had a rough life, and she deserves a bright future. Basil is good with dogs with a slow introduction, older cats and kids. Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Lola is looking for a peaceful home.  The mom that rescued her years ago, now has alzheimers and it scares Lola.  She is a really low-key companion.  Happy to share the couch with you.  But she shared a little too much dinner with mom so now she's on a diet and cannot have chicken. She has been to obedience class and it made a world of difference for her.  She feels more comfortable to have structure and a predictable, consistent environment.   We'd really love to find a peaceful retirement for Lola. Age: 8 years Weight:  100 but she is on a diet now Temperament: Gets along with calm adults Training: Housetrained, has obedience training.
