Shadow is a 1.5 year old hunting hound she has a huge story before and after her rescue with a very large following. She loves other dogs and seeks them out. She would do best in a home with another well behaved young active dog. She's been known to run but getting better and she currently wears a tracking device on her collar. She opens up pretty quickly but is very scared and shy without another dog . She was emaciated and on the run when rescued. She is now gaining weight and beautiful. Lola was rescued from a local shelter and now her owner has to give her up to no fault of her own. She is a gorgeous, sweet girl. She is great with small dogs and seems a bit timid with large dogs but we think she would be fine in time as she gets to know them. She is obedient and aims to please. Daisy is a love! She has boundless energy and love to give. She is a little over one year old. We do not have the time she will need for more intensive training. She needs a family who has the time to help her get her energy out every day. We have realized we are not able to give enough to her, and we are hoping to find someone who can. We have two other dogs, and she has been just fine with them. She loves to play with them and bark at the trash truck with them. We had a cat until he died, and she was very aware to leave him be. Daisy is crate trained and doesn’t have accidents. She can’t be left to roam the house, or she will chew things up. She is sweet with all ages of people, but is unaware of her body around smaller kids, and can come crashing through knocking littles over. We are sure she could learn, but again, we aren’t the ones to teach her.

Carlyle has been a beloved part of our family for 5 years. We adopted him at around 2 and believe he is now about 7. He is fully house and crate trained, in excellent health, and up to date on all vaccinations (records available).He lives with our four children and a small Yorkie mix and does wonderfully with both. At 83 pounds, he still thinks he’s a lap dog. As a Catahoula Leopard Dog, he is very smart, loyal, and loves being with his people.Carlyle can be leash reactive, especially toward unfamiliar or off-leash dogs, so he does best with a confident handler. Due to a recent move and work schedule changes, he now spends much of the day in a crate. We believe he would thrive in a home with a yard or ranch and someone who is home more often.This is a very difficult decision, and we want the very best home for our boy.
