Shadow is a 1.5 year old hunting hound she has a huge story before and after her rescue with a very large following. She loves other dogs and seeks them out. She would do best in a home with another well behaved young active dog. She's been known to run but getting better and she currently wears a tracking device on her collar. She opens up pretty quickly but is very scared and shy without another dog . She was emaciated and on the run when rescued. She is now gaining weight and beautiful. We rescued Chewy 6 years ago from someone that couldn't care for him due to their health issue. He was about 2 years old when they rescued him from a family with too many dogs. We have no other pets so he is spoiled and is a great companion for us. He loves to be wherever we are and loves our family and friends and people who we invite into our home in general. He is very protective and likes to watch out a front window and will growl or bark when anyone enters our yard or sidewalk. He was house trained and has never had an accident in our home and is left alone occasionaly for up to 6 hours at most. He is an inside dog and not allowed to stay outside. His hair is very short and he doesnt shed. He has never bit or threatened anyone. We are seniors and can no longer care for him due to health issues and so must find a new home for him. He sees a vet regularly and is up to date on all exams and vacines and is in excellent health.

Meet Sharon! This beautiful 2-year-old girl weighs 60 pounds and is ready to find her forever home. Sharon was found as a stray, and when her owner never came forward, she began her search for a family of her own. We think Sharon may be a Plott Hound/Great Pyrenees mix, but one thing we know for sure is that she's 100% lovable! She's house-trained, energetic, and loves playing in the water. She walks well on a leash, and her favorite way to spend the day is exploring walking trails. Sharon would love a home with another active dog, especially a confident canine companion who can help her continue coming out of her shell. She's ready for a family who will enjoy an active lifestyle and give her all the love she deserves! Kids 10+ would do great with Sharon. She's been spayed, microchipped, and made current on vaccines. She tested positive for heartworms and has started the slow-kill treatment, which means no down time or risky side effects for her. Stay tuned for more info and photos as we get to know Sharon! Shayla’s story could have gone very differently. She came to Humane Tomorrow with a group of dogs left to survive on their own in a drug-infested neighborhood in East Texas. Covered in demodectic mange and missing much of her beautiful coat, Shayla looked rough around the edges, but her sweet spirit never disappeared. With a little medicine, good food, and plenty of love, she has blossomed into the brindle princess she was always meant to be. ✨ Now this gorgeous girl is thriving. Shayla weighs about 40 lbs, the perfect medium size. She is good with dogs of all sizes, male and female, young and old, small to large. She is a well behaved girl with a medium energy level. She will need some exercise and play time to keep her healthy and happy. Shayla is smart, too. She knows how to use a dog door, loves curling up beside you in bed all night, and lives for a good game of fetch. Toss the ball once and you’ll have a devoted fan club for life. After everything she’s been through, Shayla is more than ready for a safe, happy home where she’ll never be forgotten again. She does sadly have heartworms but has already started her treatment, which is paid by Humane Tomorrow’s amazing donors. Need to rehome River since we have an infant around. She is around 7-8 years old and sleep around the house mostly but recently has showed signs of being territorial with her bed/food around our new baby. She’s never showed signs of aggression with us or with children prior, so it’s a bit of a surprise. Additionally, we haven’t had as much time to take her on walks which is her absolute favorite, close second is chasing rabbits.She is a wonderful companion that loves to smell everything. Big sun bather!Hoping to find the right home for her, very sad time for us.
