Meet Franky – The Sweetest Boy You’ve Never Met (Yet!)   Franky is a 2-year-old, 55-pound brindle bundle of joy who’s equal parts cuddle expert and playtime pro. He’s been patiently waiting for his forever home for over a year, and we can’t understand why—because Franky truly is the best boy.   He absolutely adores his people and will happily snuggle up for movie night or lounge with you after a long day. But don’t let his love for cuddles fool you—Franky is also a fun-loving, playful pup who would thrive with a doggy sibling and a yard to romp around in. He’s great with other dogs, cats, and older kiddos, making him a perfect addition to a lively and loving household.   Franky is house-trained, leash-trained, and crate-trained—he’s got the basics down and is ready to move in and steal your heart.   If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and joyful companion who’s been waiting patiently just for you, Franky is your guy. Story
Harper loves to be close! She is a one to two year-old plott hound/black mouth cur mix that weighs 63 pounds and arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 1/4 as a stray. She appeared to be timid in her kennel, but once she got out in the yard she came to life! .She was frisky and was attempting to entice me to play with her. She does fetch and retrieve balls. She sits for treats and takes them gently. She comes when you call her. She’s friendly, outgoing, active, and affectionate. She didn’t have a problem meeting other dogs. She walked OK on a leash. She would like to have a yard to stretch her legs in and to play in but would like to spend most of her time inside cuddling up with her new family.

Story
Gordon is still waiting… Two-year-old Gordon has known what it’s like to be overlooked. He’s watched as other dogs found their forever families while he’s been left behind—through no fault of his own. This gentle, loving Plott Hound mix has so much love to give, but his special needs make him easy to pass by. Gordon has epilepsy, and while it’s manageable with medication, he needs a family willing to see past his condition and love him for the amazing dog he is. Gordon is calm, sweet, and wonderful with other dogs and attends doggie daycare often. He dreams of a home where he can finally feel safe, snuggled up beside someone who won’t give up on him. He doesn’t ask for much—just love, stability, and a family who sees his heart, not just his challenges. He’s been waiting. Hoping. Wondering when it will be his turn. Could you be the one to show Gordon that he’s not forgotten? Contact [Rescue/Shelter Name] to meet Gordon. He’s ready to love you forever.     ##1760794##

Story
Lola was rescued from a local shelter and now her owner has to give her up to no fault of her own.  She is a gorgeous, sweet girl.  She is great with small dogs and seems a bit timid with large dogs but we think she would be fine in time as she gets to know them.  She is obedient and aims to please.  She is about 9 months old, Jan. 2024, and weighs 50 lbs. ##1623586##

Story
Shadow is a 1.5 year old hunting hound she has a huge story before and after her rescue with a very large following. She loves other dogs and seeks them out. She would do best in a home with another well behaved young active dog. She's been known to run but getting better and she currently wears a tracking device on her collar. She opens up pretty quickly but is very scared and shy without another dog . She was emaciated and on the run when rescued. She is now gaining weight and beautiful. She's spayed, vaccinated, chipped on flea prevention. She's HW positive and started treatment. Please reach out to me personally with any questions regarding Miss Shadow. Jenna Hughes 214-405-4384
