Story
Hi! I'm Nichole. I'm an approximately 1 year old, female, Plott Hound/Pit mix that weighs 51 Lbs. I was found off of Memorial dr. and Quail Run in Rockwall on 05/23/24 and never reclaimed. I am a fun-loving gal who loves people and loves to play! I am excited to learn new things and join a loving family. I walk well on a leash and am eager to learn new things! I know how to sit and stay. I want to learn and am looking for a family to teach all the things! I love food and am looking forward to snack time. I've heard kids carry the best snacks and really like to share. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my basic yearly vaccines, and heartworm negative.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. July 26, 2024, 8:07 pm

Story
Theo is truly the best dog! He is currently 5.5 years old and weighs 73lbs last time I checked. He is a total attention seeker, and loves to have all of the love and affection someone can offer him. He is house and crate trained, with the occasional accident (hasn’t happened in a very long time). He is great with other dogs and children, as he is gentle and submissive. He loves going to the dog park and going for walks; he’s even great on car rides. He is still young at heart so with that comes a lot of energy and excitement when he meets new people. He’s a loving dog that deserves a loving home. **if adopted, I’d love to give you whatever food he has, dog bowls, food container & crate. (crate is slightly damaged but still works)

Story
Reese is the perfect-sized brindle bundle! Her big brown eyes will melt your heart. She is sweet, and goofy, but chill at the same time, and wants to nap next to you all day long! She's about 2 years old and weighs 45 lbs. From what we know she was kept outside most of her life, and because of this she was heartworm positive BUT she is taking her pills every week so she's on the right track! She is playful, silly, sweet, and cuddly. Her likes include treats, food, belly rubs, curling up into a small ball, and napping. Her dislikes include baths and carrots.Reese would do well as your only companion or would love having a furry friend to wrestle and play with. She is learning new things every day and is eager to please for treats! She is potty-trained and crate trained. She loves taking naps at your feet and chewing on bones. She waits patiently for her walk, but it's her favorite part of the day!! If you're looking for a new best friend who's down to hang out whether it's walking or just watching Netflix, Reese is your girl! ##1614754##

Story
Lola was rescued from a local shelter and now her owner has to give her up to no fault of her own.  She is a gorgeous, sweet girl.  She is great with small dogs and seems a bit timid with large dogs but we think she would be fine in time as she gets to know them.  She is obedient and aims to please.  She is about 9 months old, Jan. 2024, and weighs 50 lbs. ##1623586##
