Story
Hello! I'm Clifford! I'm a 1 year old, 62 pound, male plott hound and retriever mix. I am a super sweet boy that loves meeting new people. I love to play with other dogs and would be great with another dog in the home. I already know how to "sit" and "lie down" so the rest of training should be a breeze. Please come to the shelter to play with me! Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. The best way to get in touch with us is by email: info@secondchancespca.org. Due to the volume of calls, only the most urgent calls will be returned. For information regarding the adoption process please visit our website or read the information below THANK YOU.ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second ChanceSPCA, please come during open hours. Story
Cowboy Franky is an adorable sweet brindle boy, 1 year old and 47 pounds. He's leash trained and rides well in the car. He loves other dogs and likely good with children and cats based on his incredible temperament.    He is currently sporting  purple spray paint (compliments of his time on the streets) which will wear off eventually.   To meet Cowboy Franky in person visit us at www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online adoption application.  * Adoption Fees: Puppies (12 months and under) - $325  Dogs (over 12 months) - $275  Qualifications for Adoption:  No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.  Must be home more than not. Vet checks are required! All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions.  Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address. Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household. Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting. Willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and responsible care for a pet. All poisonous plants must be removed from the yard.  DSDA is located in Dallas and requires a home visit on every adoption so only adopt to Dallas and surrounding areas.   ##1995570##

Story
Did somebody say, "ball?! I'm Beau, and my goodness, do I love a good play session with the ball! My idea of a perfect day with my very own forever human would be a car ride to someplace adventurous where we can play ball and goof around together. Maybe some other doggo friends could even joins us - I'd like that. I'm a 1-year-old, 80-lb cool dude who is ready to roll when it comes to a forever home. I'm potty-trained, great on a leash, very well-behaved, and super sweet. I've also been told I'm easy to train. What can I say, I love to learn! When I'm not feeling studious, I'm generally a goofy guy who is sure to keep you smiling and laughing. I am looking for an active home - so lots of yard play, walks, and fetch for me, please! I hope you'll submit an application to make me your buddy, and we can go on so many awesome adventures together! Story
Reese is the perfect-sized brindle bundle! Her big brown eyes will melt your heart. She is sweet, and goofy, but chill at the same time, and wants to nap next to you all day long! She's about 2 years old and weighs 45 lbs. From what we know she was kept outside most of her life, and because of this she was heartworm positive BUT she is taking her pills every week so she's on the right track! She is playful, silly, sweet, and cuddly. Her likes include treats, food, belly rubs, curling up into a small ball, and napping. Her dislikes include baths and carrots.Reese would do well as your only companion or would love having a furry friend to wrestle and play with. She is learning new things every day and is eager to please for treats! She is potty-trained and crate trained. She loves taking naps at your feet and chewing on bones. She waits patiently for her walk, but it's her favorite part of the day!! If you're looking for a new best friend who's down to hang out whether it's walking or just watching Netflix, Reese is your girl! ##1614754##
