Shadow is a 1.5 year old hunting hound she has a huge story before and after her rescue with a very large following. She loves other dogs and seeks them out. She would do best in a home with another well behaved young active dog. She's been known to run but getting better and she currently wears a tracking device on her collar. She opens up pretty quickly but is very scared and shy without another dog . She was emaciated and on the run when rescued. She is now gaining weight and beautiful. Meet Sharon! This beautiful 2-year-old girl weighs 60 pounds and is ready to find her forever home. Sharon was found as a stray, and when her owner never came forward, she began her search for a family of her own. We think Sharon may be a Plott Hound/Great Pyrenees mix, but one thing we know for sure is that she's 100% lovable! She's house-trained, energetic, and loves playing in the water. She walks well on a leash, and her favorite way to spend the day is exploring walking trails. Sharon would love a home with another active dog, especially a confident canine companion who can help her continue coming out of her shell. She's ready for a family who will enjoy an active lifestyle and give her all the love she deserves! Kids 10+ would do great with Sharon. She's been spayed, microchipped, and made current on vaccines. She tested positive for heartworms and has started the slow-kill treatment, which means no down time or risky side effects for her. Stay tuned for more info and photos as we get to know Sharon! I got rukia from a shelter in Dallas about 8 months ago in November. She was also about 8 months old. Rukia was at the shelter for 3 months prior, however I’m not aware of her history before the shelter. She is about 18 months now weighing about 38 pounds. She’s not going to get any bigger. Super friendly dog, however she’s very very anxious, timid & very clingy. Living with 0 aggression. But she can be very shy and just has a very soft but timid scared nature. She needs affection pretty much 24 hours a day. Very smart , good listener

A Few Things About Me: *9 months old  *Potty trained  *35 pounds *Crate trained  *Friendly with cats  *Loves other dogs  *Obsessed with toys and playtime *Extremely cuddly  *Confident and affectionate  *A little shy around some men at first  *I Would love a playful dog sibling Life hasn't always been easy for me. I came to Mazie's Mission with an injured hip and had to have surgery, but don't worry, I'm healing well and ready to find my people. I'll need someone who understands that I may have some limitations at first, but I promise I'm worth it! I'm already potty trained and crate trained, so I'm off to a great start. I love other dogs and would be thrilled to have a playful canine sibling to romp around with. Playing with dog friends and collecting toys are two of my favorite hobbies! I'm also cat friendly, so I can fit into lots of different families. When I'm not playing, I'm a professional cuddler. Seriously, if you're looking for a snuggle buddy, I'm your girl. Sofia is a playful puppy but also loves to cuddle. She has no idea what personal space is and just wants to be near a warm body. LOL! She will bark at noises but is not aggressive. She sits on command and is smart. Sofia will destroy anything she can pull into her crate, so for that reason, there is only a mattress inside a huge crate where she sleeps at night, if she is being left alone for short periods, a smaller crate is best. She loves toys and anything that breathes. LOL!
