Story
Hi! My name is Jekyll and I’m a curious soul who wants someone to explore and o on adventures with . And I'm a recent college graduate! Ok, so it’s not college exactly, but let’s not diminish my accomplishments. I just finished an 8 week training program and I feel like a brand new man.  I mean, I'm practically a champion walker! I walked all crazy ziggy-zaggy at first but now walks with me are a breeze. I never have potty accidents, and I also know how to sit, lay down, wait, stay, leave it, and go to my “place.” Waiting is really hard because everything is so exciting, but I'll do it because I want to make you happy. I love running around outside and playing fetch with one of my many tennis balls. Doing stuff outside is so much fun! I love other dogs, and cats too, but I don't think they like me as much as I like them. I'm just so excited to see them! And I want to play! Playing is my favorite. I would LOVE if my new forever home had another canine friend that matches my energy. My foster family found me near their house where I was trying to play with cars(they do not play nicely) so I'm happy that I'm safe and sound now. What do you say, can we be best friends?   My adoption fee is $200 locally in Houston, TX or I can be transported out of state for $400 (includes health certificate and travel fee). She does not have behavioral issues. That was simply the best category of the list. Rowdy is a wonderful little dog. She’s a dream companion if you are an outdoor person. She never gets tired and I am no athlete. Her real problem is I’m an older owner whose interests are not aligned with her needs.She is NOT destructive. No problems at all in that area. She’s obedient, affectionate, and eager to please. She is a roughneck which in my opinion isn’t good for SOME children and elderly people with poor balance.She’s energetic, playful, learns quickly, takes well to commands, fiercely loyal, is very athletic, (fast as heck) and extremely loving. She would do well in obstacle course training. She can clear a 6 foot fence with little to no effort. While she likes other dogs, she seeks alpha dog status. She’s got heart and not always smart enough to back down. Give her a chance if you are active and you won’t be sorry.

Meet Poppy! Poppy is a beautiful 1 1/2-year-old girl weighing in at a perfect 48 pounds of love, wiggles, and personality! This sweet pup is kennel trained, potty trained, and walks nicely on a leash, making her an easy addition to the right family. While Poppy enjoys relaxing and hanging out with her people, don't let her mellow side fool you when it's mealtime, she turns into a full-body wagging machine! Her tail gets so excited it seems to have a mind of its own. Poppy loves toys, especially soccer-ball-sized ones. She proudly carries them around, tosses them in the air, and has an impressive talent for turning them into confetti. She still enjoys chewing, but she's learning the difference between her toys and things that aren't hers, and she's doing great with gentle guidance. Like many dogs, Poppy will bark if she feels unsure or threatened, but once she feels safe, her sweet and affectionate personality shines through. She gets along well with other dogs and is currently learning that cats can be friends too. Poppy is looking for a family who will appreciate her playful spirit, her goofy excitement, and her loving heart.
