He and his siblings were rescued from euthanasia at a shelter in Galveston, and he’s been showing just how special he is ever since.This handsome boy loves to play fetch and splash around in his doggie pool. He’s also very smart and eager to learn, making him a fun and engaging companion. Dawson has a big heart and a gentle spirit—he’ll be just as happy running around the yard as he will be relaxing by your side.If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and loving best friend, Dawson may be the perfect match for you.Adoption Fee: $FREE

Hi! My name is Jekyll and I'm an energetic puppy who's excited about everything. I love other dogs and cats but I don't think they like me as much as I like them. I'm just so excited to see them! And I want to play! Playing is my favorite. I love to fetch tennis balls and be chased around the yard. I have a lot toys and playing tug of war is the best. I'm still trying to figure out what I am and am not allowed to put my mouth on, but I'm learning! My foster mom says I'm in my "terrible twos," but I'm not even one yet so I don't know WHAT she's talking about. I mean, I'm practically a champion walker! I walked all crazy ziggy-zaggy at first but now walks with me are a breeze. I never have potty accidents, and I also know how to sit, lay down, wait, and leave it. Waiting is really hard because everything is so exciting, but I'll do it because I want to make you happy. I need lots of exercise to get my wiggles out so it would be great if my forever family liked to do fun stuff outside a lot. My foster family found me near their house where I was trying to play with cars(they do not play nicely) so I'm happy that I'm safe and secure now. What do you say, can I be your adventure buddy?   My adoption fee is $350 locally in Houston, TX and it includes all my age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter and microchip. Kira came to the shelter as an injured stray, limping on one of her legs. With a little TLC and time to heal, she’s made a full recovery - and now she’s walking, running, and ready to find her forever family!From the moment you meet her, Kira’s gentle spirit shines through. She greets you by calmly sitting at her kennel door, making it easy to leash her up. Out on walks, she’s a dream: no pulling on the leash, just happy to stroll by your side. She has a low to medium energy level so she`s mostly calm and easygoing but lights up when squeaky toys are involved! She’ll happily entertain herself with them, but she’s polite about letting you take them back when playtime is over. Kira enjoys attention, loves being pet, and takes treats gently from your hand. She already knows how to sit on command too!

Introducing Claire (fka St. Clair)!! Claire is a BEAUTIFUL brindle labbie mix. Sweet Claire was rescued from the same cruelty situation as her brother, Frank, abandoned outside after their owners moved away. Unfortunately like so many other amazing dogs in Houston, Frank and Claire both found themselves on the euthanasia list due to time and space. Scouts Honor stepped in after first meeting Frank, knowing we could NOT leave his sister behind!! Claire is a little shy, but loves other dogs just like her brother Frank. They are not a bonded pair- so can go to separate homes! We think she’s around 4-5 years old and probably should be closer to 60lbs once she puts on some weight! She is very eager to please, loves treats, and would be the perfect companion in any home. We are excited to give this dog a second chance at life to know the love she truly deserves.  Claire would LOVE to be in a forever home! Let's show Claire love she’s never experienced before!
