Hello, I'm Cedric, a seasoned soul who values my independence. I was an owner surrender when I was a puppy along with my other 5 siblings. My siblings all were adopted but unfortunately I have made it to seniorhood without finding a forever home. I'm protective of my house so I'm not keen on strangers coming in so I have to be crated. I'm a big male of about 90 lbs. I broke my leg back in 2019 so having to have crate rest to heal put on the extra pounds. I do have a few doggie friends that I go out with but I'm okay being a loner and enjoying naps. I enjoy spending time in a fenced backyard and dream of a home where I can continue my tranquil lifestyle, perhaps with someone who appreciates a loyal companion without the fuss. Meet Prancer! Prancer is a 2½-year-old Heinz’s 57 mix with a story that’s equal parts mystery and resilience. She originally came to us as a tiny puppy alongside her litter—“Santa’s Reindeer”—and was adopted into what we hoped would be her forever home. Recently, she found her way back to us after being picked up by Animal Control. Unfortunately, we were unable to reach her previous adopters, and we don’t know what her life looked like over the past two years—what she was called, what she experienced, or what she may have gone through. What we do know is who she is today—and she is absolutely wonderful. Prancer has been back with her original foster family for the past few weeks, and she has settled in beautifully. She’s now ready to find a true forever home where she can feel safe, loved, and secure for the rest of her life. This sweet girl has a big personality and an even bigger heart! She loves to play and will happily keep you entertained with fetch or a good game of tug-of-war for as long as you’re willing. She is fully house trained, sleeps great in her crate, and has lovely manners in the home. Prancer is independent and trustworthy when left alone—she’s not one to get into trouble. She gets along well with other dogs and truly enjoys having canine friends to play with. When it comes to cats, she is cautious but curious and has been respectful. And when playtime is over, Prancer is more than happy to soak up all the love—she absolutely adores attention and will snuggle up next to you every chance she gets. She is fully grown and has gained back most of the weight that she had lost at Animal Control. She weighs about 40 pounds. We don’t know exactly what she is mixed with, but she has a short naturally docked tail. About half of her litter also had short tails or various lengths. While we are not sure of her exact parentage and breeds in her mix, we know that she is 100% wonderful. After an uncertain past, Prancer deserves a future filled with consistency, love, and happiness. Dyno Mitey turns 3 on June 2026, he is half pit bull and pointer with beautiful blue eyes. His father was a white pointer with brown spots and he took after him. I got him for my son, when he was 8 weeks old and my son has a full-time job now. I’m looking for a new good fit home for him. This has been a hard decision to make! I am a 58 year old woman with some health issues and he deserves more than I can give him! He is fixed and house broke, and has been an indoor dog but loves being outside, he is more pointer than pitbull. He loves taking walks and being in the woods, basically a hunting dog, he is always pointing! That is in his blood and I would give him up to be able to have his dream come true! He is a great dog! So loving! He does not fight over food, I’ve trained him to even eat gently from your hands! He likes playing, taking walks, leash trained and is great around kids. He so protective of babies! I really prefer a person that enjoys the outdoor’s, to get him.

Breed: Pointer/Jack Russel Mix (our best guess!) Gender: Male Estimated Date of Birth: 4/9/2024 Size: 31 pounds Location: Wedowee, AL RESCUING BINGO... Bingo was part of an oops litter of 9 puppies who belonged to a local family. The mom was a Jack Russel mix and the dad is unknown. Two of the puppies sadly didn't survive. We were contacted to help with the remaining 7 puppies and we took them in on June 20, 2024. We also had the momma dog spayed. When we got these babies they were in rough shape - loaded with worms, fleas and ticks but we knew they needed to be saved and we are so happy we could help! The pups in this litter are Bingo, Peaches, Zeke, Willy, June, Penelope (Adopted!) and Summer (Adopted!). ABOUT BINGO... Bingo is living in our rescue cottage with other dogs. He is a super sweet puppy but he is shy and a follower so would do best with a patient family that has another dog who is confident and could show him the ropes. He is a big snuggler and once he is comfortable and feels safe with his family he will show you non-stop love. He is very playful, loves toys and bones. He does well with his crating routine and is fine in his crate but occasionally will still have an accident once or twice a week. He would do well with kids and would make a great addition to a family. Bingo walks well on a leash and currently has a fenced in yard. He would do best with a yard to run and play in or with an active family that can get him out to burn off some energy. Bingo also loves to play in the kiddie pool and would do great as a boating companion or a family that hikes near creeks or has a pool. ADOPTING BINGO... Bingo is neutered, current on all vaccines, dewormed, heartworm tested negative, microchipped and on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventative. His adoption fee is $200.00.
