Hello, I'm Cedric, a seasoned soul who values my independence.  I was an owner surrender when I was a puppy along with my other 5 siblings. My siblings all were adopted but unfortunately I have made it to seniorhood without finding a forever home.  I'm protective of my house so I'm not keen on strangers coming in so I have to be crated.  I'm a big male of about 90 lbs. I broke my leg back in 2019 so having to have crate rest to heal put on the extra pounds.  I do have a few doggie friends that I go out with but I'm okay being a loner and enjoying naps. I enjoy spending time in a fenced backyard and dream of a home where I can continue my tranquil lifestyle, perhaps with someone who appreciates a loyal companion without the fuss. We are not 100% sure what this boy is, he's built like a lab and smart like a lab and he has the coloring of an english pointer. All we know is he is a GREAT BOY!!! He's very healthy, very loving and smart! He will need a lot of wide space to run because we believe he's less than 2 years old he has a ton of energy. He loves people and other dogs, very social. He can jump a fence but he jumps it and stays around he's not trying to get away he wants to be the center of attention! He loves loves to go on a car ride! He will jump in and go anywhere!

Hazel's former family shared that she is good with children, and the volunteers describe her as incredibly sweet, loving, and precious. The loud, unfamiliar shelter environment has left her feeling scared and shy, but with a little patience and reassurance, Hazel quickly shows her gentle and affectionate nature. This smart girl already knows several commands, including sit, down, and stay, and she enjoys earning praise from her people. Breed: Pointer/Jack Russel Mix (our best guess!) Gender: Male Estimated Date of Birth:  4/9/2024 Size: 31 pounds Location: Wedowee, AL RESCUING BINGO... Bingo was part of an oops litter of 9 puppies who belonged to a local family.  The mom was a Jack Russel mix and the dad is unknown.  Two of the puppies sadly didn't survive.  We were contacted to help with the remaining 7 puppies and we took them in on June 20, 2024. We also had the momma dog spayed.  When we got these babies they were in rough shape - loaded with worms, fleas and ticks but we knew they needed to be saved and we are so happy we could help!  The pups in this litter are Bingo, Peaches, Zeke, Willy, June, Penelope (Adopted!) and Summer (Adopted!). ABOUT BINGO... Bingo is living in our rescue cottage with other dogs.  He is a super sweet puppy but he is shy and a follower so would do best with a patient family that has another dog who is confident and could show him the ropes.  He is a big snuggler and once he is comfortable and feels safe with his family he will show you non-stop love.  He is very playful, loves toys and bones. He does well with his crating routine and is fine in his crate but occasionally will still have an accident once or twice a week.  He would do well with kids and would make a great addition to a family.  Bingo walks well on a leash and currently has a fenced in yard.  He would do best with a yard to run and play in or with an active family that can get him out to burn off some energy.  Bingo also loves to play in the kiddie pool and would do great as a boating companion or a family that hikes near creeks or has a pool. ADOPTING BINGO...
