Story
Hi, my name is Stormy.I am one sweet girl who really enjoys meeting people. It doesn't take much for me to give you a greeting in kisses and nudge at you to give me pets in return! Since my stay here at the shelter, I am making progress on how to engage in playgroups and working on my leash manners. A couple treats here and there will surely get my attention so you better have them with you when training me for basics and other fun things! For right now, I would like to be the only dog until my social skills are set. More time to get to know you and your training style, wouldn't you agree? Let's see what you can teach me! I'm ready to serve and impress! I am microchipped, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. In addition, I receive monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention. All dogs are $75, which can be paid via cash, card, or by check. Please feel free to visit me anytime during the shelter's hours Monday through Friday 11am-5pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm.

Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com       Meet Chase.  This six year old pointer/cattle dog mix loves kids, people, and has done well with some easy going dogs. His owner passed away before Christmas and the family dumped poor Chase in the shelter.    Chase is around 50 pounds and neutered.  He is potty trained, walks well on a leash and will go into a kennel, but prefers to be with his people.  If you would like to meet this very special boy, please email steffeniegaprescue@gmail.comApril 26, 2024, 7:01 pm

Story
Hank is a super sweet and goofy boy. He was found as a stray in the country, just trying to survive on his own. People were very mean to him when he would come around looking for food.  Because of this, he is very shy/nervous in new places and around new people, but non aggressive.   Once you win him over, he will give you his entire heart.  He is extremely loving and affectionate, quite the big baby. Hank is loyal, and goofy.  He loves to play and loves adventure. His smile as is big as Texas and his little under bite is one of the cutest things you'll see! He would do best in a low traffic home. He has been fostered with a small (very dog experienced) child and is great, but he is a bit hyper and clumsy at times and can accidentally knock a small child down, (he's 80lbs), so he would do best with older children.  He would thrive in a home with another dog to play with in a big back yard, but does require slow introductions as he is wary of new dogs at first.  He is rambunctious with his dog friends and needs a friend that tolerate his ruff house play!  He has been with other dogs ranging from 15-65lbs.  Hank does well with non confrontational cats! Hank has a (back) foot deformity.  We do not know if it was a birth defect or if something happened to him, but he only has one toe on his back foot, which contributes some to his clumsiness.  He has been on glucosamine and joint supplements his entire time in rescue and it is recommended he stays on them his entire life to prevent early arthritis because of his foot.  It is not expensive and can be bought over the counter. If you're interested in meeting this baby, please reach out or submit an application on our website. ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS/FT WORTH METROPLEX MEET AND GREET APPOINTMENTS SET UP WITH PRE-APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY Otis is literally the BEST boy! He is just a happy-go-lucky fella who loves to do whatever his foster dad is doing. His other favorite pastime is napping on his back with his feet up in the air! He loves walks, the dog park, car rides, pretty much anything he gets included in he loves! It’s a totally different life for him than the outdoor life he had in South TX. After he was surrendered to a shelter we found out he came from the same home a litter of pups we took did so it was our mission to save him too. He has been the best save and he is going to be an incredible family pet when adopted! If you would like to meet Otis, the first step in the process is to complete an application. Story
Milo came all the way from a Border town in Mexico.  Very few get out and he was so scared we just had to save him.  He was a small boy = weighing only 34 lbs, but has gained healthy weight and is now up to 55lbs.  He was shut down completely when we got him.  Now that he is in a foster home he is doing so much better. He loves to play with other dogs and would do best with another dog to make him feel confident.  He is adorable, sweet, and cuddly. He is also cat friendly. Because of his fear we think he would be best with older children if any.  Toddlers would scare him with quick movements most likely. codys_adoption_application. ##1111626##
