Story
Hi, I’m Zumi! I’m a 1-year-old, 60lb pointer mix with the most hypnotizing eyes E.V.E.R. I’m a spunky gal ready to join an active family. While I am enthusiastic and love to have fun in the yard, I’m not crazy hyper. So once I get some exercise, I’ll be happy to hang out inside and be your steady companion. I’m not all that interested in toys or treats, I’m just happy to be in the company of fun people. I would be happy to share a home with other dogs or kids but I’m not a fan of sharing my food so just feed me by myself and all will be well in my universe. If you need a running buddy, someone to go on hikes with or a friend to motivate you to start a walking routine, then come on out to meet me!!

Or, how about these Pointers in cities near Pilot Point, Texas

Story
Copper is a fantastic buddy that loves his people. He loves watching for squirrels and protecting the yard! Copper adores his “stuffies” and loves to do zoomies with them. Copper would also prefer a home without children. He enjoys a brisk walk, know how to sit and shake and loves to howl when he hears any siren! Copper has a good amount of energy, but also loves to relax with his humans. Soft plush blankets are his favorite, and he can barely wait for you to lay them out before he tries and snuggles in. Copper can be choosy about other dogs, but has lived with a large and small dog with success! If you are looking for a devoted companion, Copper is the guy for you. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Copper is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.May 28, 2023, 4:38 pm

Story
Archer came to our rescue after being picked up as a stray. He doesn’t know his front ankles aren’t ‘normal’ as he gets around just fine. This condition is Angular Limb Disorder and attempting surgeries to resolve could make his situation worse. While he wouldn’t be a great running companion he still loves going for walks and short jogs. Long or strenuous walks could make him sore, so his family would want to avoid that as he would go if asked. This handsome boy is a happy, outgoing, gentle soul. He loves humans of all sizes and ages. Being with his humans and getting attention is his very favorite thing. He lives with lots of other dogs and is fine with everyone unless they are nasty to him; he won’t be bullied by anyone. He is good around the cats in his foster home who are very dog savvy. Archer has excellent house manners and is crate trained. He is engaged with his humans and treat motivated so would do well with training. He already has great recall and will sit for treats. He loves going for rides and would be a great go-everywhere dog. Archer is fully vetted – current vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Story
Bianca came to us with a head trauma which resulted in the loss of her eye and surgery to repair the damage to her mouth/facial area, but she fully recovered and is a happy, outgoing, playful girl. This lovely girl gets along with other dogs of all sizes and ages and would excel in a home with other dogs to spend time with. She is great with humans of all sizes and ages also and loves getting attention. Though she is crate trained, she would rather not have to be in one; she’s not destructive and is only crated in her foster home for safety reasons. She has great house manners and will go to the door when she needs to potty.Bianca is fully vetted - current with her vaccines, spayed and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and microchipped.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.North Texas Cat Rescue P.O Box 1504 McKinney, TX 75070 214.454.9395 www.northtexascatrescue.com Looking for a sweet, silly, obedient pup to play and cuddle with? Let me 'point' you in the right direction.♥&#239&#184&#143 Meet LOLA, a six-year-old English Pointer who is just the kindest, most affable dog we have ever fostered. She is on the small side, approx. 42 lbs. with brown freckles and a big goofy grin. She loves to play outside, but she's equally happy laying next to you in bed or on the couch. She can be timid when she doesn't know where to go and what you want her to do, but it's heartworming because she really wants to please you. You just have to give her some direction and instructions. She is spayed, utd on her shots, crate-trained, and microchipped. She really enjoys the company of other dogs. She's passive and will follow their lead. She doesn't mind cats, but might lay on them because she forgets they are smaller and more fragile. Please consider adopting Lola, she's so much fun and just the sweetest soul. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please contact NTCR AT 214.454.9395 should you have any concerns or questions. Story
Pipi, the love muffin! This girl is so affectionate and sweet; such a lover and so social. She is a favorite and looking for a foster home or adopter to invest in her. She so deserves that and has so much love to share! Pipi is well behaved, sweet, playful and a couch potato at heart! She is very quick to learn new commands because she is treat motivated. She is a lovely lady. Pipi is a solid little pocket pit who does really well with bigger dogs and proper introductions. Cats and littles are not a good fit. Pipi is a sweet, adorable, intelligent girl. Aside from the basics like come, sit, place and leave it she picked up shake, drop and spin like a champ. Who would love to give this girl the opportunity to let her personality shine. She loves playing with her toys especially balls, and greets you with her big beautiful eyes. Her confidence is improving and she has worked with our trainer on leash walking and reaction to visual stimulus like squirrels or cats. She has been incredibly teachable and redirects well. She is house trained. Her life before rescue had a lot of sad parts. She was found in a shelter with two babies who were very sick. She lost both babies, the only joy she knew in life. She has blossomed into the dog she deserves to be. There is just so much to love! For more information, you can email adopt@dallasdogrrr.org. Upon receiving your application please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
Oh this beautiful girl has had it rough and deserves a chance! She is ready to be loved and spoiled! She is adjusting well but still weary on new things. She is learning to 'dog' with her chew toys and friends. We are still getting to know Orchid but would love if someone would step up and show her what life in a home is all about. She is smart and ready to please so have no doubt she would adapt quickly. She is mild mannered but just needs a little time to adjust. This precious mom and her sole pup were found as strays and brought to the shelter. Mom was emaciated and so frightened what her future held for her and her baby. They clearly had not known love and attention. The baby was so attached to mom and probably the only pup to have survived. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
Meet Davis! This sweet 5-year-old Pointer is looking for a home where he has toys to play with, a yard to exercise in and people,e to love. He loves toys about as much as he loves treats and is pretty adorable to watch when he tries to decide which toy to play with. He can sit, shake and lay down on command, is house-trained, and loves to be close by to get affection. Unfortunately, he did test slightly positive for heart worms. But please don't let that stop you from coming to meet him! We'll cover the treatment and he'll have years left to adore you!
