Story
Jax was a shelter favorite, came in under one, under weight, under loved, and completely shut down well, he is a beautiful broad lovable boy now. Weighing in at 55 lbs (might be a little over weight as treats are definitely his thing). Very friendly, good with kids, did great with the seniors. And just loves belly rubs. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, micochipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
A good samaratin doing his rounds to feed homeless dogs in South Dallas, came across poor Cinnamon who he knew was not well, she was young and in rough shape. She was skin and bones, her nails were curled under and she had no energy. They reached out for help and we rushed her to the ER. She was only 6 months old and needed immediate help. Turned out she was fighting parvo and an intestinal obstruction. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Story
Mattie is a sweet, laid-back girl who loves nothing more than snuggling up with her humans. She’s full of personality, always carrying her favorite toy (a crab!) around to show it off proudly. While she enjoys playing with other dogs, Mattie’s happiest moments are when she’s cuddled up next to you—whether you're relaxing or working from home. She'll follow you around the house and stop by for scratches, making sure you know she's there for you. Mattie is great with kids, house-trained, and gets along with other dogs. She thrives when she's outside playing, especially if her favorite human is there to join the fun! If you're looking for a loyal companion who wants to be by your side, Mattie is your girl. ***Adoption Details:***- Name: Mattie- Age: 1 year, 4 months- Gender: Female- Size: Medium (55 lbs)- Shots up to date: Yes- Spayed/Neutered: Yes- Housetrained: Yes- OK with kids: Yes- OK with dogs: Yes- OK with cats: Not sure  The other dog pictured is her brother Wyatt who is also available for adoption. #AdoptDontShop #DFWAdoption #MattieNeedsAHome. ##1753492##

Story
Milo came all the way from a Border town in Mexico.  Very few get out and he was so scared we just had to save him.  He was a small boy = weighing only 34 lbs, but has gained healthy weight and is now up to 55lbs.  He was shut down completely when we got him.  Now that he is in a foster home he is doing so much better. He loves to play with other dogs, both big and small, and would do best with another dog to make him feel confident.  He is adorable, sweet, and cuddly. He is also cat friendly. Because of his fear we think he would be best with older children if any.  Toddlers would scare him with quick movements most likely. He is a big cuddler too when he knows you. He is house trained as well. codys_adoption_application. ##1111626##
