🐾 Meet Jangle — Your Next Adventure Buddy! 🐾
Jangle is a tall, lean, wiggly goofball who made his way from a Georgia shelter to Wisconsin with Mutt Life Dog Rescue, and he’s now thriving in a foster home on a farm. This sweet boy is looking for an active home that can match his energy and give him the life he deserves! He was found as a stray in rural Georgia on a back country road with a broken back left leg. He spent some time healing while in the shelter in georgia and then was brought up to WI on 6/21/25 where he has been living it up in his foster home. He is currently being fostered in Cedarburg, WI.
Jangle is super loving and affectionate—he leans into you for attention like he wants to melt into your side. He has that classic pointer personality: smart, energetic, and always ready for action. He’s the kind of dog who bonds deeply with his people and wants to be part of everything you do.
Here’s what we’ve learned about Jangle in foster care:
🐕 Dog-friendly and submissive with other pups
🐾 Great off-leash with excellent recall
🐦 Shows prey drive toward birds and would likely make a great hunting dog with training
🚶♂️ Needs daily walks or a job to do—he thrives with structure and purpose
🏡 Would do best with a big yard, farm life, or active humans who enjoy the outdoors
🐴 Fine with horses and respectful of livestock
🐱 Okay with cats, but can be pesty
🛋️ Settles down nicely in the evening with a bone or curled up on the couch
He’s currently being fostered on a farm with a perimeter collar and dog door, and he’s doing great—hanging out independently during the day and coming in for love and snuggles when he’s ready.
Jangle is potty trained, walks well on leash, and absolutely adores attention. He’s the full package for someone looking for a loyal, active, and affectionate dog.
Are you the perfect match for Jangle?
Whether you’re a hunter, hiker, or just someone with room to roam, Jangle’s ready to be your loyal sidekick.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
1.) Apply: Fill out an adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents.
2.) Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.
3.) Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: After approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5-day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit.
4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue.
5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process, we conduct a home visit either in person or via Zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have.
6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI, or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $150 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old.
**Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
