Grover is a six-year-old mixed breed, medium-sized dog. (Pointer, herder, lab, pit, and more). Originally rescued from Oklahoma 4 years ago. Grover is friendly, enjoys being petted, and loves to run outside and fetch balls. He will protect the home and owner (he does not like unexpected/unknown visitors at the door, or delivery people.) He knows basic commands (sit, down, stay). He does not jump up onto furniture or steal food. Grover is up to date on all vaccinations and had his annual check-up in June. Grover will lay down and watch us do yoga in our dining room. He gets along well with children. Our grandson lays down besides Grover and reads to him.

Billie is an adorable young mix, thought to be a Pointer/Aussie/Lab mix. She’s about 44 lbs, a bit on the lean side currently. And estimated at 4 years old. Billie joined us from a very horrible neglectful situation. She along with eight other dogs was rescued from a trailer, after the owner of the trailer was taken to a mental health facility. All dogs were starved; two were starved to death. Billie was one of the survivors, but barely so. She was skin and bones when joining our rescue program….and a look of hopelessness filled her eyes. During the last several weeks that Billie has been in her BAARK foster home, she has made notable progress, gaining weight, looking better, feeling more confident, and showing us some pep in her step! She’s even starting to play with other dogs. An ideal home and family for Billie is one who can understand her past and give her the time and space she needs to continue to build her confidence, and blossom into a loving, playful girl that she deserves to be. Good nutrition is very important given her past. Billie obviously is good with other dogs but the preferred home for Billie would be as an only dog, or with another calm friendly dog. She’d love a secure fenced yard where she could run, play, and exercise. She is scared of quick movements at this time, so smaller children would likely be overwhelming to her; older children should be fine. Miz enjoys being around people and is happy to greet just about anyone she meets, making her a joy to have by your side. She does well with other dogs and with kids and would fit nicely into an active but balanced home. Mia has a bit of extra energy and enthusiasm, especially when meeting new people, but she settles well and enjoys both playtime and companionship. Mia is looking for a home that will appreciate her affectionate nature and give her the chance to continue growing into a confident, happy companion. In return, she’ll offer loyalty, love, and plenty of sweet moments. All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. Hi I'm Dexter! I'm a wonderful, affectionate, loving 1 Year Old, Griffon Mix, weighing 15-20LBS, neutered and fully vaccinated. I prefer a fenced yard and a home with no kids. I am crate trained and learning how to walk on a leash. I know how to use the doggie door, but I may have an occasional accident if locked inside for long hours outside the crate. I am very attached to my foster mom and will need to go to a home that has the patience to let me grieve, while I adapt to the comfort of another home. I am also used to being part of a pack of dogs because I live with 8 other dogs. Introductions to the other dogs will need to be slow because although I am used to being part of a big pack, I am used to my pack, and it may take me a few days to get used to another dog.
