Meet Daon, the cute and sweet pom! Daon was one of the 1,400+ dogs rescued from the large-scale illegal dog breeding farm located in S. Korea that recently became a huge issue. Their horrifying environment for breeding was one of the worst in history. Dawon was pregnant when rescued and thankfully had a safe delivery later on, although her babies are currently undergoing treatment due to their weak health. Out of the longtime misery, She is taken good care of by her foster family right now. We are glad to see her bright and live personality is coming back! > Personality: Gentle and kind-hearted > Relationships: - With dogs: Does well with all furry friends! - With cats: Zero aggression towards cats. She stays calm even after being slapped by a cat. - With adults/kids: Likes people of all ages and both genders! > Bathing: Tolerates it well. > Brushing: Good > Shedding: Moderate > Energy Level: Very high > Eating Habits: Eats everything well except for too-tough ones. > Food Allergies: Allergic to Beef > Walking Manners: Sometimes makes circles when the leash is long. > Likes: Anything that she does with her people! > Dislikes: Nothing particular > Car Rides (carsickness): Gets nervous momentarily but clams down very soon. No carsickness. > Behavioral Issues with Vet: The most gentle pup approved by her vet! > Potty: Uses pee-pads 90% > Crate Training: ❌ > Barking/Howling: Barks a little towards noise from outside(doorbell) and howls a little when her foster family is out. > Separation Anxiety: howls in front of the front door but only for a short time > Aggression towards other dogs or people: ❌ > Skills: Knows commands like sit, paw, and turn. Particularly, she has the best recall when off-leash in dog parks❤️ > Health Issues: - All vaccines done/ Basic check-up done - Spaying and dental scaling scheduled (two front teeth missing) - Heartworm/Tick/Flea prevention with Nexgard on the 5th of every month - Grade 2 patella luxation on both hind legs - Having treatment for dermatitis on the left foot Daon is patiently waiting for a forever home to call her own!  Meet Caleb (Previously known as Hamilton) Caleb isn't just any dog; he's a symbol of unwavering spirit, hope, and undying resilience. After living outside for his entire life, facing what we believe to have been a tough and possibly abusive past, his humans cruelly abandoned him at a shelter, falsely claiming that vets recommended he be put down and medicine would only make him worse?! Thanks to a volunteer from our rescue, Caleb was pulled and taken straight to the vet. We invested in a $2400 health check (bloodwork, scans etc), to ensure Caleb isn't suffering in any way and is healthy for a senior!  Despite his challenging past, Caleb's spirit remains unbroken. He is now learning the joys of human affection, and slowly opening up. No longer forced to endure the cold and isolation outdoors, Caleb is discovering the comfort of a soft bed, and learning how to trust humans. This elderly gentleman enjoys about 45 minutes of gentle outdoor strolls daily. Though signs of potential past mistreatment show in some spinal and hip issues, he resilient.
