Please share with friends and family! These dogs will be fixed the week of 12/15! This dog was found with her brother wandering the streets of Long Beach. If I had to guess, based on the condition of their teeth, they are under or close to 1 year old. They smelled like theve been sleeping on urine-soaked bedding, were muddy, covered in fleas, and have most likely never had their nails clipped before. No microchip 😔 I bathed them twice, clipped their nails,, and gave them flea medication. They;re people, dog, and kid-friendly. Both are extremely submissive. Theyve been posted on Nextdoor, Pawboost, and Facebook and reported to Long Beach Animal Services. Theyre definitely bonded and most likely siblings. Id love to find a safe place for these babies to land, together ideally. They have spay/neuter/shots/microchips appts and will pay upfront the full cost of vetting (over $1,000), so Im asking for a $250 per dog rehoming fee.

I’m Bella, an 8-year-old Pomeranian/chi mix. I was surrendered by my family after a divorce. I need a patient family with no small children. I’m an active senior who loves to relax and go on walks. I tend to be nippy to protect myself until I trust you. But I can promise you I’m a sweet, loving girl once I'm comfortable. I am great with my foster family. Is very friendly and affectionate right away. Easily trusts familiar people and seeks comfort from them. Is a sweet, loving little dog who enjoys being petted and loves to climb into people’s laps for cuddles. • With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs. Used to enjoy running and playing with his best friend #AdogsJoseph, who has since been adopted. Is very calm and enjoys her alone time. • With Cats: Lived peacefully with cats at the center. • Separation Anxiety: Since he lives in a group setting at the center, it’s hard to assess precisely. However, seems to do well even when people are not around. • House Training: Currently stays indoors at the center and uses pee pads well. • Grooming: Generally tolerates being handled and groomed quite well. • Car Rides: Relaxes comfortably and rests well during car rides. • Biting: Doesn’t bite at all — is a gentle and calm boy. • Barking: Barks occasionally, which is soft and not bothersome. • Likes: Is a people-loving, friendly dog who greets everyone warmly! • Dislikes: Sometimes gets jealous when others receive attention, due to his affection to people. If someone he likes pets a smaller dog, he might give that dog a little jealous scolding.
