Meet Sprout! He is an adorable Pomeranian mix (we guess Pomeranian/Chihuahua AKA PomChi). He is around 1 year old and weighs 8 pounds. This sweet boy was found abandoned in a carrier at a gas station in southwest Atlanta. 💔😢 He was taken to a local shelter and from there Tiny Paws was able to step in and get him into a loving foster home. 🏠 Though he may have had a rough start, Sprout is still a loving little dog. He’s a true lap dog who loves snuggles and being close to his person. He enjoys toys and will entertain himself, though he’s more of a people-dog than a play-with-other-dogs kind of guy. He tolerates other dogs in his foster home well, but prefers not to engage in play. He can be a little anxious at times, but luckily does not experience separation anxiety. Sprout is quiet and content in his crate and doesn’t make a peep. To make this adorable little boy even better, he is perfectly house trained, making him an easy addition to the right home. Sprout would be happiest and feel safest in an adult-only home. In return, you’ll get a loyal, affectionate companion who just wants to be loved the way he has always deserved. ❤️ ******************** Sprout’s adoption fee is $500. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Preference is given to applicants located within the metro Atlanta area. Applications from outside this area may be considered under certain circumstances. Please note that non-local applications will be reviewed only after all local applications have been thoroughly evaluated. 💜 MARTINA 💜 Martina is a Pomeranian who is 10 pounds and estimated to be about 10 years old. She came to us from a local animal shelter after being found by a Good Samaritan. This pretty lady has a gentle soul and a spunky spark. As a loving senior, she knows what she likes and dislikes and isn’t shy about it. She’s devoted and protective. Martina finds comfort in staying close to her person. Martina is house-trained and crate-trained. She loves to sleep in the bed with you at night! She is okay with other small dogs and also cat-friendly. ******************** Martina’s adoption fee is $500. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and just received a dental. Preference is given to applicants located within the metro Atlanta area. Story
Onyx likes to run and play. He is very territorial and protective to people he knows l. He acts more like a watch protection dog. It takes him a while to warm up to strangers. Onyx is very fluffy, soft, and cuddly but he will not stay still long enough for cuddle at times. He is 1 years old and 3 months. Someone gave Onyx to my mother-in-law that got him from the La VA Quita Flea Market (November 2024). She became allergic along with her having other health issues.

Story
6 year old Rucker was an owner surrender at a local animal shelter. He was adopted right away but then the holidays came and all the family came to visit. Rucker a small little guy with lack of social skills was overwhelmed with guest and little ones running around. He should have been decompressing and getting comfortable in his new home, but instead got overwhelmed and scared and ended up biting his new owner. He went to another county shelter for his 10 day bite hold, the family decided that they would not be taking him back at the end of the hold. Rucker was marked rescue only.Rucker is adjusting to his new life in a foster home. He started off terrified of the other dogs, but has learned to tolerate a few of the smaller ones. With slow introductions, he could live in a home with other small dogs, but would do best in a home as an only dog. He is perplexed by cats, and not a fan of small children.  If we had to guess, Rucker probably lived his whole life with a single female without many visitors (people/animals). He thrives one on one, but not in a crowd. Once he knows you, he is good, but reserved around strangers.  Like a typical Pomeranian, he has a lot to say.
