He gets along very well with other dogs, but can be kinda pesky to an older dog, because he thinks every dog wants to romp and play. He is also happy to collect all his toys on his bed and just play by himself. Teddy had a bit of neglect growing up, and he isnt fully house trained yet, but, with scheduled trips outside, he does very well. He is crate trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. TATER TOT Male Pomeranian 6-8 years old Good with smaller dogs (he is dog selective) Not recommended with cats Not recommended with kids Appropriate for city living: No Meet Tater Tot Tater Tot is a middle-aged Pomeranian who walks a little wonky but has lots of love to give. Tater Tot was allegedly hit by a car and unable to walk. After a few days at Metropolitan Veterinary Associates, with good care, pain meds and lots of love, he started to recover. Bit by bit, day by day, he got better. He had no injuries consistent with being hit by a car and an MRI did not indicate any breaks but did confirm some changes in a few of his discs. None of this slows him down a bit! He loves to run even if it looks a bit wobbly! Tater takes a while to warm up to new people but once he loves you, he loves you with his whole heart. Tater Tot is going to need an extra special, patient family. He will be added to the website soon, but you can still submit an application at www.findingshelter.org. MEET ZIGGY! Meet Ziggy the 8 year old Pomeranian mix! He was originally surrendered to ACCT Philly due to his family relocating. This poor guy was suffering from severe skin issues, fur-loss, and double ear infections. Ziggy has caught up on vet care and is now looking and feeling like a whole new dog! With some TLC and vet care his skin has cleared up, his fur is growing back, and his ears are fixed up. Ziggy is currently living with 2 large dogs in his foster home and he does great with them, but he still prefers attention from humans. He’s been non-reactive towards cats but isn't currently living with any. His previous owner shared that he would sometimes bully other small dogs in the home and after getting to know his boisterous personality, we’re not surprised. It’s Ziggy’s world after all and we’re just living in it! Ziggy definitely rocks that "main character energy" like no other. He has his signature pom pom dance move where he claps his paws together and spins! He also demands belly rubs multiple times a day. He’s the cutest little skunk doppelgänger and an affectionate little nugget. He’s still working on his table manners when food is around and house training. Nobody’s perfect after all, though Ziggy is close to it. If you're looking for a tiny dog with a big personality. Ziggy might be the guy for you!
