Story
Fred is such a sweetheart. Poor guy has not had a great few years, with owners being neglectful and even abusive. He is SO sweet and jsut loves attention. Fred is good with dogs, cats, and kids and jsut wants to be loved. He is about 3 or 4 years old and 12 lbs of wonderful cuteness. Please, open your hearts and home to this special boy - you will be so glad you did. A must meet, for he is way cuter in person. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)   February 16, 2026, 1:00 pm

Story
Introducing our newest sweet senior, Cali! This 10 year old Pomsky has been a frequent flyer at a local shelter, kept outside and running loose on a regular basis. This last time her owners didn’t come back for her so she finally has the chance for a better life and responsible loving home. She’s a sweetheart, blind but navigates well, loves being brushed and belly rubs, and is fine with other smallish gentle dogs (she’s about 17lbs full grown and looks like an oversized Pomeranian). She’s been spayed, had a dental, and had a small benign mammary mass removed and has recovered nicely, and is ready for a home that appreciates her loyalty and lovely disposition. Email njwoof@cs.com if you are interested in meeting Cali Since COVID-19, we are no longer holding our Sunday adoption events until further notice, but we are scheduling meet and greet appointments with a specific dog or dogs at our meeting spots in Northern NJ. To streamline adoptions, all communication before, during, and after the adoption process is done through email only: we have limited volunteers able to return phone calls. Submit an application from our website www.secondchance.petfinder.com to speed up the adoption process and email any questions to us at njwoof@cs.com. Please check your email regularly for next steps. All our dogs reside in foster care in Northern NJ until adoption and we do not have a central shelter location. We are a small all-volunteer organization focused on rescuing local dogs from area shelters, as well as accepting some surrenders and puppy mill rescues.

Story
Meet Harriet! The cutest happiest tiny toothless treasure, this little puffball of a Pomeranian is sure to bring a smile to everyone lucky enough to be in her presence 😃. We don’t know why she was abandoned, but she definitely didn’t deserve it and she deserves someone who will appreciate her in her golden years. She’s chunky at 9lbs, probably at least 10 years old, has been spayed, updated on shots and had hernias repaired and needed all her rotted painful teeth pulled. She has mild heart disease but no medication needed at this time and otherwise is in good health and will hopefully have many years to enjoy in her new home. She’s good with other small gentle dogs, loves food and dances and begs for people food and treats, and loves to sleep right next to you in bed. Email njwoof@cs.com to meet Harriet in Northern NJ Since COVID-19, we are no longer holding our Sunday adoption events until further notice, but we are scheduling meet and greet appointments with a specific dog or dogs at our meeting spots in Northern NJ. Story
Welcome the Valentine Trio. 2 girls and 1 boy, all 4 pounds of precious. They were born 12-13-25 to a 5# mutt mama who was bred with a Pomeranian. Their senior human thought this was a good idea until she realized she would have to care for them and she just couldn’t. They are super sweet and have been around kids and cats. If all continues to go as planned they will finish their vetting and be ready to travel the 3rd weekend in March. Their adoption fee is $399 and if they have to be transported from their home state of TN, there will be an additional $200 charge. You can submit your application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRR/Dog and read all about them and the process on our website at funnyfarmpets.org
