Gotta catch them all….. Especially this little girl – Eevee! #IYKYK Eevee AKA Pom-poo is a 3-year-old female Pomeranian. She is just under 5lbs, mostly full of fluff. She is still learning the ropes and likes to play hide and seek most of the day. If she hears or sees something unusual though, she’ll sound the bark-alarm and is suddenly a “big dog.” Eevee likes other dogs, big and small. She likes kids, in moderation, and a bit bigger is best. Will require a home with children over 10 years old to help her continue to adjust to life and have a quieter calmer space. She is crate trained and finds that to be her safe space. She is doing well with potty training and will use a pee pad if available (regression is normal with change in environment). Eevee is a picky eater, but we are continuing to trial different foods to find what she likes best. She was positive for a tick-borne illness on intake but has completed her treatment and is showing no lingering effects. She has Grade 4 luxating patella’s but at this point surgery isn’t needed as she does not appear to be bothered by them. Eevee is up to date with all vaccines, she is spayed, and had her teeth cleaned. Meet Trixie. Trixie is a German Spitz/Pomeranian mix that came to us from a breeder. She turned 3 years old on June 10, 2026. Trixie weighs about 20 lbs. Trixie has taken a lot of time to learn to trust new people. She is happiest playing with other dogs her size and running around in her foster mom's fenced in yard. Trixie will need another dog in the home to gain confidence and learn from. She loves to play with toys in the dark of the night when no one is watching. Trixie keeps her crate clean and knows to go in when it is time for her foster mom to leave. She is going to need a very calm and patient home that has a love for the breed. She wants to be friends but is afraid of people. So far she has only found one person that she trusts and likes to cuddle with. She will mostly hide when there are visitors except for this one person. We think he may look like someone she knew before. No little kids for Trixie as she will snap when she feels threatened or cornered. She is now spayed, had a dental cleaning and is up to date with vaccines and microchipped. At just 7.5 pounds and 4 years old, Maxo is a darling Pomeranian with a fluffy coat, a happy outlook, and a whole lot of love to give. Found as a stray alongside another dog and brought to ACCT Philly, Maxo's journey has already had a few bumps in the road, but we think this little guy deserves to be judged by who he is today. During his intake at ACCT Philly, Maxo nipped a veterinary staff member while being picked up. The incident resulted in only a minor graze that required no medical treatment. Staff believe the situation may have been influenced by the fact that the female dog he arrived with was in heat while Maxo was still intact. Once the dogs were separated, Maxo settled in and did well with all handling. Since then, Maxo has shown us nothing but his sweet side. At both ACCT Philly and in our care, he has been social, friendly, and easy to handle. Volunteers have had no issues picking him up, cuddling him, carrying him, or showering him with affection. In fact, he's quickly become a favorite thanks to his happy personality and loving nature. Maxo is proof that a single moment does not define a dog. What we've seen is an excellent little companion who enjoys people, welcomes attention, and is ready to leave his stray days behind. He deserves a family willing to see the wonderful dog he truly is and give him the fresh start he's earned. Hi! I’m Colette and I’m looking for my perfect home. Want to know what that looks like for me? I’d like a home with a patient family that understands I need time to feel safe. I didn’t have the best start in life so I’m still learning how to trust my people. My family will also need to know that I really like toys, like really really like toys! Treats are also must. They’re my second favorite thing. I like all the dogs, and even the cats, in my foster home. But I’m kind of afraid of large dogs so no dogs larger than 20 pounds, please. Colette’s foster mom here, Colette is a happy little girl weighing just over 7 pounds. She’s very sweet but hasn’t yet learned to enjoy being pet or held. I know she’ll learn how nice these things are in the near future. Shes so happy to be our little shadow when we’re in our fenced yard. Colette has made so much progress since coming into our home. She’s learned to ‘sit’ by following what our dogs do when given treats. She’s so smart! Colette has also learned our routine quickly. She’s so incredibly happy to just be near us. Onto the necessities. Colette must have a fenced yard. She has not yet learned to leash walk with any consistency. Her fears can cause her to dash out of doors or exit points so she’ll need an adopter experienced with fearful dogs and willing to take all precautions needed to keep her safe. Her house training is going really well with her pacing and looking at us when she needs to potty. However, she’s not perfect and will need continued positive reinforcement. Her crate is her safe space when she needs a break. She also loves to put her favorite toys in her crate.
