I just need somebody to be a little patient with me. I'm doing good on my crate training and I'm playing with some friends. Older kids would be okay possibly some younger ones once I get adjusted. I'm doing pretty good on my leash training.I'm current on all my shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm and flea prevention microchipped and spayed. I like to go on adventure so I need a secure yard to play in. I would love to find a home of my own and and someone to love me forever and always unconditionally. Meet Paxton! Paxton is an adorable and mischievous 3-year-old male Pomeranian weighing in at 4lbs. He is neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations. He made his way to Saving Hope Rescue as part of a breeder surrender though no fault of his own. Despite his size, Paxton packs a punch in the excessive vocal department particularly when he feels alone. He will be best suited in a home only and no apartments please. The ideal home would have someone who works from home fulltime. Housetraining is ongoing and until mastered, he will require a bellyband and consistent outings. He has proven to be stubborn in this area, but small victories are celebrated.In his foster home, Paxton lives with many dogs of all ages and sizes. He does incredibly well with socialization and has a high level of comfortability with his own kind. In meeting new people, he tends to be a bit nervous, but curiosity gets the best of him. Paxton is best suited and safest with adults and children 10 years and older due to his size, fragility, and sensitivity. He enjoys toys, but his focus lies on household items which are not in his best interest. Thus, his engaged playfulness will need to be redirected positively with a vigilant eye. Kevin is a 4 month old, 8 lb Pomeranian mix. Kevin is a very special little pup who needs a very special home. Kevin is the sweetest, softest, and most gentle puppy his experienced Fosters have ever seen. He loves to be held and petted, which is a good thing considering how irresistible he is. This a a joyful puppy; his personality is as cuddly as his fur. Kevin is likely the product of a poor breeding practice that resulted in him being completely blind in one underdeveloped eye and diminished sight in the other. As far as we can tell, he is completely deaf. Nevertheless, he is very responsive to a hand signal for "come" as long as it's close enough for him to see. He seems to be a smart boy and needs adopters who are willing to figure out how to help him make the most of his limitations, although he doesn't seem to notice them himself. Kevin usually waits to do his business until he's taken outside, and if he has to go while inside, he finds a pee pad. He'll let you know when he needs to go. House training is going well. Soft toys are his favorites. He likes to play tug with the other foster pup, and plays chase and bite face with her too. He may be happiest with another gentle dog to play with and to help guide him. Libby is a 6 year old, 4 lb Pomeranian mix. Foster mom says this tiny lovebug is friendly, easy-going, and such a sweetheart! She is a little shy at first, but she is gaining confidence and becoming more outgoing every day. She is affectionate and will just melt into your lap. She is working very hard on potty training and is making great progress. Libby is fantastic with other dogs and will do best in a home that has another companion dog. She and Lolo (also available for adoption) are good buddies. We are offering a $50 discount for each if adopted together. Libby needs a quiet, low activity home. She doesn't live with kids, but may be ok with kids over the age of 10 if they will treat her gently.
