MEET Jordy! Jordy and another dog were being given away for free on the Nextdoor App. They were picked up by a lady but it was not a good fit for her RV lifestyle. She was caught dumping them in carriers on the Mini Mutts President's front porch! Jordy is an adorable, 5 year old, little Pomeranian and weighs 10lbs! Sadly, Jordy was not handled by people as a young pup and prefers not to be picked up or to be petted but will give your fingers sweet kisses! He has a sweet temperament! Jordy is a sweet and happy, tail wagging little guy and gets along great with other dogs. Other dogs are his jam!! Jordy is looking for that special person that understands that he doesn't feel comfortable being petted but enjoys just being around his person... just one foot away! Little Bear is a handsome, 1.5-year-old, 8 lb Pomeranian mix! He's all black with the cutest little white markings on his chest and paws, and he's absolutely adorable. More importantly, he has the sweetest heart. Little Bear can be a little nervous when he first meets someone, but once he feels safe, his loving and cuddly personality really starts to shine. He loves being wherever his foster mom is and has become very comfortable with her. He's also warming up to his foster dad and showing him more of his sweet side every day. Little Bear is doing wonderfully with his foster dog siblings and has even started playing with one of them! At night, he's perfectly happy curled up on his foster dad's pillow, settling in and enjoying the comfort of his foster home. He is fine in a crate but still needs some gentle nudging to go in. Little Bear may need a little patience and time to come out of his shell, but watching him gain confidence and trust is incredibly rewarding. No, it’s Pete! This one-of-a-kind, 7-year-old Pomeranian is truly something special. He has the most expressive little face, and he’ll melt your heart with the happy, grumbly sounds he makes when you pet him. Pete is a guy of simple pleasures. He loves his treats, lives for a good tummy scratch, and is slowly learning that being a professional cuddler is a pretty great gig. He’s curious about toys, but honestly? His absolute favorite thing in the world is a humble, empty toilet paper roll. He’s currently about 11 pounds, and we’re working on getting him feeling his best—he’s on medication for low thyroid to help his metabolism, and he’s doing amazing on Keppra to manage his focal seizures. Because he hasn't quite taken to leash walking and really isn't a fan of crates, a home with a secure, fenced yard is a must-have for him. He’s definitely a quirky little guy, but he is such a wonderful companion.
