MEET Jordy! Jordy and another dog were being given away for free on the Nextdoor App. They were picked up by a lady but it was not a good fit for her RV lifestyle. She was caught dumping them in carriers on the Mini Mutts President's front porch! Jordy is an adorable, 5 year old, little Pomeranian and weighs 10lbs! Sadly, Jordy was not handled by people as a young pup and prefers not to be picked up or to be petted but will give your fingers sweet kisses! He has a sweet temperament! Jordy is a sweet and happy, tail wagging little guy and gets along great with other dogs. Other dogs are his jam!! Jordy is looking for that special person that understands that he doesn't feel comfortable being petted but enjoys just being around his person... just one foot away! ( he doesn't kiss on the first date!). Jordy is most comfortable around other small dogs so needs another small dog in the home! Want to meet this sweet boy? This 2 year old Pomeranian mix is equal parts cuddle bug, adventure buddy, and class clown wrapped up in one fluffy package. She’s the kind of dog who wants to be wherever you are. You can find her following you from room to room, checking in for kisses, then zooming off to play like it’s the best day ever (because to Daisy… it always is). Story
I fostered this dog to get it out of an abusive situation where children were grabbing him by the neck, pulling his tail and generally being mean to him. As a result, he is skittish of people he doesn't know, but especially children. Initially, he also didn't like things around his neck or to have his tail messed with. I took him in in order to give him a safe place and rehabilitate him a bit before finding someone to adopt him. He has since gotten a lot better, but can still be a bit erratic when nervous. He allows me to pet him and gently put my hands on his neck and play with his tail. He still needs work, but is on the recovery to being a 'normal' dog. He is still apprehensive with strangers, but once he knows someone, he is their very best friend. He is a true lap dog as his favorite thing is to lay on you, or next to you while on the couch. If you pet him while he lays there, he really loves that and belly rubs too.

Matzah is a 10-month-old Pomeranian mix who is sweet, social, and always ready to be part of whatever you’re doing. He’s the type of dog who wants to be close to his people, soak up affection, and make sure you never feel lonely again. This happy little guy loves car rides and enjoys going for walks, making him a great companion for errands, adventures, and weekend outings. He has a fun, outgoing personality and brings a lot of life to the room wherever he goes. Matzah does well with other dogs, but he can come on a little strong when first meeting new doggy friends. He gets very excited and may bark when he sees potential new playmates, so he will do best with a family who understands puppy energy and can help him continue learning calm greetings and good social manners. He is crate trained, doing great with potty training, and is also good with gentle children, making him a wonderful option for a family home. Matzah is still young and learning, but he has an amazing foundation and is going to be an absolutely incredible companion for someone ready to give him structure, love, and continued guidance. If you want a cheerful little shadow with a big heart and a fluffy personality to match, Matzah is ready to meet you!
