Story
Royce was my nephew’s dog. He had to move in with my sister for a short time. When he moved out, he couldn’t take Royce with him. My sister already had 3 dogs. He got along fine with her dogs but she was overwhelmed with 4 dogs. I told her I would foster Royce and try to find him a home. He likes other dogs and he gets along fine with my cat. I also have a dog and they get along fine. He loves children and would be very happy in a home with children. He loves to go on walks. When you put his leash on, he grabs the leash with his mouth and acts like he’s going to take himself for a walk. He’s a cute dog. Sometimes he gets excited and loves to chase squirrels. I think he would make a good pet for a family with children.

Story
Molly is a sweet rescue we git a little under a year ago. When we rescued her she had been found on the side of the road with her back leg badly injured to the point she had to get it amputated. She has made a full recovery and you can barely even tell she is missing a leg due to her energetic and spunky personality. She is very sweet and loves to be loved. Her only issue is that she’s not potty trained and needs a more experienced adopter to work with her on that. My two kids and cat have gotten along with her great and she’s so sweet to everyone.

Story
(Dallas, Texas) How's this even possible? Small and fun pups have always gone adopted fast, but Marley's still here playing with all the big dogs in our program. How's this even possible? Marley's an energetic boy, a whole white ball of fun-seeking guy. Although he's small and light, he knows how to wrestle well with big dogs. Marley certainly is good-looking, and his smile is contagious. It's hard to stay serious around him when he looks at you with that constant grin on his face. We know it sounds weird, but it is really funny seeing Marley pee pee. The way that he's so enthusiastically stretching his legs and kicking the grass and dirt after he's done pee pee is a scene that stops us from doing everything, and simply looking at him and laughing. While Marley thinks of himself as the big boy, not into snuggles, after almost half-year boarding with Angie, he starts sneaking onto Angie's lap for a bit of cuddle. Marley is about 2 years old, merely 10-12 lbs. a very likely Pomeranian mix. He's playful, house-trained, fixed, and shots up to date. If you are looking for a fun companion to your gang, Marley certainly wants to nominate himself to you.June 2, 2023, 10:37 am

Story
WILL NOT BE ADOPTED TO A HOME WITH CHILDREN. **Bite potential - but he hasn't bitten in a very long time.** ~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~   HEALTH: ***  Concho had some health issues when he came into our rescue but everything has been resolved and he is in good health according to our vet.   Temperament: Concho is an interesting little guy.  He has a few neurotic-like issues.  He absolutely will not be adopted to a home with small children.  Concho requires a delicate slow touch that a small child would just startle him.   Concho paces a lot outside.  This is something that a long walk will not fix.  It's just something he does and we have never been able to figure out why.  He has had an MRI but nothing indicated a reason for his pacing.  Concho loves to go on long walks and we highly recommend taking him on lots of adventures.  Concho is NOT a cuddling dog that will lay beside you on the couch for hours while you stroke his head.  He has learned to sit beside you a little and he does like to be on the couch or bed with you. He has his down time but only after he has been exercised quite a bit.  He loves to play tug and he likes it when he gets to win.  He loves play time.  He does not like being "roughed up" or handled roughly.  He requires gentle touches.  Yelling at him for mistakes will not make him a better dog.  It will make him WORSE.  Unfortunately, he doesn't really respond to positive reinforcement either.  Concho is not for everyone.  He has been passed around to many homes because he is an unusual little fluff.  He is gorgeous and that's why everyone wants him.  But when they get him home and he paces the back yard for hours and they don't know what to do with him, they bring him right back or give him away.  He's very food aggressive and toy aggressive.   The bottom line is, he needs a lot of understanding and maybe some exercise along with his meds but you are unlikely going to be able to fix him.      -- Where did he come from:  Concho was passed around from home to home and was about to be taken to the shelter when another family took him in.  They had really big dogs that did not like his little fluffy butt and they also had kids that Concho was afraid of and growled at.  So he was surrendered to our rescue and we are trying very hard to make sure Concho does not end up in another home where he is not wanted.    We all love Concho and have learned how to have a cute loving relationship with him.  He is comical and wants love and attention just like any other dog.  Please make sure you spend a lot of time during his meet and greet to get to know him and understand his quirky personality.   Adoption: ***** $500.00***** Weight: 12.1 lbs. ADOPTABLE MO! Our sweet Mo came to us from a local shelter at 10+ years old and suffering from glaucoma. Our vet describes Mo as the happiest blind dog he has ever seen! He currently lives in a home with other dogs and kids and does well with both of them. He prefers calm dogs, as puppies and high energy dog can be overwhelming to him. He is fully-vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. He does need daily eye drops and a patient family that will give him time to learn their home. Story
This sweet lady was taken into our rescue when her owner was no longer able to care for her. She had been diagnosed with diabetes but her treatment had not yet begun. Her teeth/gums were horrible and she was overweight. Even with her issues she was so sweet & only wanted to cuddle. All of her issues have now been addressed. Her weight is down, diabetes is stable (2 insulin injections a day & prescription food/treats) and teeth have been pulled/cleaned. She is now ready to begin the rest of her story. Ladybug is 9lbs & loves to hang out on the couch & watch Netflix. She’s house trained, dog door trained and loves to lay in the sun. She fine with other dogs & uses stairs/ramp to get on/off couch & bed. She loves to ride in the car in her car seat. She would be a wonderful companion for someone who works from home or is retired. No small kids please. Apply online today to adopt - https://form.jotform.com/81144515117146
