Momma Josie went to the vet today to be spayed, she was done nursing her puppies.. Here are 10 fun facts about Josie from her foster mom. 1. She is house trained. Has never had an accident in my house. 2. She loves all people including children. 3. She can be left alone in the house without concerns of her getting into anything, but prefers to go on errands with her human. 4. She walks well on a leash but only enjoys an easy stroll. 5. She loves to eat, she is not a finicky eater. 6. She is good with other dogs and most likely cats. 7. She rides well in a car, so she is up to any adventure 8. She loves to snuggle in bed and get belly rubs. 9. She is not a big Barker. 10. She enjoys chilling on the couch with her human and watching Netflix. Meet the handsome Joey. He is a 1.5-year-old, 19 pound, Pug mix?? He has a reddish-brown, smooth coat, that should be easy care. He has dark brown eyes that will melt your heart. Joey, Juliete, Jazzy and Josie were found fending for themselves in the river area of Stockton. Joey would love to have a human companion at home with him. He is shy and will need a little patience to get used to a new living situation. He gets along well with other dogs, especially females. He would be a welcome addition to an adult home or a family with children 12 and over. He will need some leash training and some house training. Here at the sanctuary, we use the command "go potty" before we take the dogs outside to do their business. This is excellent routine to establish at home. Mooshu is a silly Pug mix pup. He's very energetic and also very loving.  He absolutely loves cuddling in your lap. We found out Mooshu LOVES the beach.  He would be a great little travel dog. Looking for a little cutie to snuggle with while watching a scary movie? Daisy is your girl! Daisy is sweet lap dog looking for love. She absolutely loves being on your lap whenever possible. If she can't be on your lap she will settle for being close by and acting as your loyal little shadow. Daisy currently lives with other dogs and loves to play with them. She can be a bit timid when first meeting new dogs but generally warms up if the other dogs are nice. Daisy does not currently live with cats, but we suspect she may be okay with them given her gentle demeanor. Daisy currently lives with children and does great with them. Daisy is a moderate energy canine who loves daily walks and occasional heart-warming zoomies. Mostly she loves snuggles though and is happy to hang out for a nice nap. Daisy is working on house-training, but is making progress with supervision. Daisy came from a horrendous hoarding situation where over 80 dogs were living in deplorable living conditions, so she is still learning some of the doggy basics. But she is a sweet girl and very eager to please. Daisy is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations.       Meet the Oober adorable Pigeon Bird! Pigeon is a 3 year old 12 lb PugCHi mix that came to us from @mManteca AniManteca Animal Services     This is what her foster family has to say about her-   ' While fearful at first, this little gal will soon become curious, confident, sweet and loving. She is a high energy girl and would match well with an active person.   Pigeon is most eager to please and would benefit from training classes to harness her enthusiasm and energy. She will follow you everywhere, and shows potential as a velcro dog, but at this stage is always on the move, sniffing, inspecting, patrolling and napping on yours houlder. Once Pigeon is confident about her environment, she will nap quietly next to you or on your shoulder if possible.       We don’t recommend a house with cats, as she chases them, but she does well with other dogs. She hasn’t been tested with children yet, so we don’t know how she is.   Pigeon is afraid of loud noises, but with time seems to become more adjusted.   She is not completely housebroken yet, and knows how to use pee pads. She is great on leash, doesn’t pull, and with some training, will become even better. When she sees the leash she bounces up and down with joy!   Pigeon also enjoys rides in the car but will need to be harnessed in as she likes to explore her environment. She also enjoys going to work with her foster mom and getting attention and napping in the big office chair with her dog buddy.   Some of her favorite pastimes are furniture parkour, rolling around on her back, and invading the space of her people. She doesn’t seem terribly food motivated at this point, it could be because she is still getting settled, after her stressful time in the shelter. Raisin is an adorable little senior pug whose owner passed away. She found herself lost in the shelter system and needed a little help. Since becoming a vintage pug she has been spayed, had a benign mass removed, all shots updated, and will receive a dental in early May. This gentle older gal can still see, hear, and is fully mobile - not bad for 13! She would love a retirement home where she can have a human companion to lavish attention on her to make up for the love she’s been missing

Smart, cute, and oh-so-sweet, Ranger is here to bring some fun into your life! Ranger is about 5 months old and is the happiest little boy. He loves to play, make new friends, and promises to always brighten your day with his goofy antics. Ranger currently weighs about 20lbs and will likely be around 45lbs when full-grown. Ranger was surrendered to us with his 9 siblings after the previous family had an unintentional litter of puppies and needed help finding the puppies good homes. Ranger's mom is an Australian cattle dog and his dad is a pug. Ranger is the perfect mix of active and cuddly and would thrive with a family that can take him on lots of adventures. He is a little Velcro dog who always wants to be by your side and join you for whatever the day holds. He is still learning all his basic manners, but is eager to learn (aka earn yummy treats) and needs a family dedicated to helping him learn how to be the best boy he can be. Ranger has done well with the other dogs he has met and has become BFFs with the youngest dog in his foster home. He would be a great buddy for another playful dog, but he could also do well as an only dog with lots of dog friends and playtime. Ranger has had some experience with cats and seems like he could do well living with dog-savvy cats with a slow introduction and proper supervision. Ranger has previously lived with kids and could be a great addition to a family with kids 7 years and older. Ranger has been doing well with his house training and quickly learned how to use a dog door, but needs a family that will be patient with him while he is learning and expect accidents. Ranger has been doing well sleeping through the night in a crate, but hasn't spent too much time home alone and needs a family with a schedule that would allow them to slowly acclimate him to being comfortable being home alone. Ranger is a rockstar pup and can't wait to mee his fur-ever family. Precious, an 11-week-old bundle of joy, is a delightful mix of Pug and Terrier, rescued from a home unable to care for her by a compassionate friend.
