Story
Have you heard the phrase, a face only a mother could love? Well, let us introduce you to the inspiration for it. Meet Guppy! This little guy may not have won the genetics lottery, but what he lacks in looks he makes up for in charm. He could be a pug mix, he could not be. Perhaps bulldog? Only a DNA test will reveal the truth. Do we really know his age? Could he be 2 or 7, who is to say? He was born without his right eye, has a uniquely shaped head, a major underbite, and an endearing wobbly walk. He came to us from the California Central Valley with a few other pugs after his owner went into a nursing home without a care plan. Guppy is looking for a home where he can chew on toys, lounge the day away, and follow his person like a shadow. Hes crate-trained, and while hes still working on potty training, a consistent routine will help him get back on track after being shuffled around these last few weeks. He's good with confident cats and dogs of all sizes, but we suspect he would be happy as an only-dog, too. If youre searching for a quirky, one-of-a-kind companion, Guppy just might be the pug for you! He's being fostered in Rohnert Park through The Pug Hotel.

Story
Meet Emerald! Emerald is a sweet, fawn-colored pug mix with a heart as big as her personality. Around 4 years old and just over 12 pounds, shes the perfect compact companion who loves being close to her person whenever she can. Whether shes tagging along on walks, exploring new places, or simply keeping you company at home, Emerald is happiest by your side. At night, shes a dream: quietly curling up in bed and sleeping soundly until youre ready to start the day. She has an affectionate, gentle nature, sprinkled with the occasional burst of playful zoomies that remind you just how fun she is. And while Emerald may only have one developed eye, dont let that fool you: she sees everything and doesnt miss a beat! If youre looking for an adorable, loyal partner and constant companion, Emerald is your girl. Shes truly one of a kind and ready to bring so much love into her forever home. She's great with other dogs, and she's getting spayed on 1/20. We pulled her from the shelter, and she was born with an underdeveloped eye (which doesn't impair her in any way!)

Story
Simba is one of the sweetest, silliest pugs youll ever meet. This little guy is all heart: he just wants to be close to his person and soak up every bit of love he can get. Hes on the more submissive side and doesnt play much with other dogs, but he gets along with everyone just fine. Simbas dream home is one filled with attention, activity, and plenty of playtime. He loves playing fetch, enjoys long walks, and is always ready to curl up on the couch for cuddles. At night, he can sleep in a crate as long as a human is nearby, but he cant be crated during the day or in any wire crate (hell try to chew his way out). Hes brushing up on his house manners, like not jumping or begging, and hes showing just how smart and sensitive he is. This guy even knows how to use a doggie door! With the right family, Simba will be an endlessly loyal, goofy, and loving companion. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped as well. Simba came to us through another rescuer who saved him from a life in a crate outdoors in Mexico.

Story
Say hello to Remy and that adorable little tongue! Its always peeking out because Remy has no teeth (more on that below), and it only adds to her charm. Remy is a four-year-old pug who came to us as an owner surrender and is now looking for her forever home. Remy is affectionate, smart, and already knows her basic commands (and some fun ones!) Shes fully potty trained and loves nothing more than being close to her people. Right now, shes a bit unsure about the changes in her life and bonds quickly, but that just means she has an incredible amount of love to give. A true velcro pug, Remy wants to be by your side and go everywhere with you. Shes an active girl who enjoys playtime and exercise, especially a good game of fetch (though shes still working on the drop it part). Remy enjoys walks, sniffing around, and soaking up the sunshine. She would do best with someone experienced in leash training, as she can be reactive to large dogs while on leash. While she generally gets along with other dogs, she does show some resource guarding, so thoughtful introductions and guidance are important. Shes been around cats and young kids, but she may thrive best in a home without them. Remy would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time to provide the consistency, reassurance, and companionship she needs right now. All of Remys teeth were removed when she was young due to some malformations, so she eats softened kibble and absolutely loves her veggies. Bonus: no dental cleanings needed! She has no health issues other than the one that was resolved with the teeth pulling. Her previous family decided to rehome her after welcoming a baby and no longer having the time she deserves. Remy is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and shes currently being fostered in San Francisco. Shes ready to give her whole heart to a family who will cherish her forever.

Story
Large and in charge, this 5-6 years old gorgeous gal is ready to take on the world. Shes got a lot to say, lots of energy, and social skills to charm any room she bursts into. She was previous used as a breeder dog, but that chapter is now far behind her. Shes simply enjoying being loved and cared for, and she is just so thrilled to zoom around a yard, curl up on her dog bed, and snuggling with her people. Shes potty and crate trained, and shes comfortable with a dog door. Shes very excited on a leash, but we think thats just because she wants to meet everyone and sniff everything. Princess is currently being treated for a double ear infection, which is very common in pugs. She has long-lasting antibiotics in her ears, so there is no need for daily ear drops. She is also a little on the chunky side, but her foster has her on a diet kibble and she is working toward getting below 20 pounds in the coming weeks. Shes spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.

Story
Boris came to us from a local shelter as a stray and this guy craves love. He is a unique color being a light cream/white pug and his small size makes us think he is a pug mix. We estimate he is 9-12 months old as definitely still puppy behavior. He will be your shadow, sleep touching you and kiss your face endlessly. He is great with small dogs, but he does bark at bigger dogs and cats. He is working on his potty-training skills being an inside dog and has started using a dog door. He needs a home that will dedicate time and attention to him, wearing him out, training him, and helping him acclimate. Active homes preferred! He's in his teenage phase and testing our boundaries. He is getting neutered on 1/20 and will be available to go to his forever home as soon as that is done.
