Banjo is a one-year-old Pug mix with classic happy go lucky puppy energy and a big, playful personality. He came to us as a stray from Harbor Animal Shelter, where he was kenneled with his buddy Yogi, and he has transitioned beautifully into foster life. Banjo is curious, adventurous, and always ready for the next activity. He loves fetch, exploring outside, and sniffing everything in sight, then happily settles in for cuddle time once he has burned off his zoomies. He is house trained, sleeps through the night, and crates well when home alone. He is friendly with everyone he meets and confidently walks up for pets on outings. Like many young dogs, Banjo can be stubborn and is still learning his manners, but he is smart, food motivated, and already working on basic training in his foster home. Banjo will thrive with an adopter who enjoys an active, silly companion and is willing to continue training while embracing his fun loving personality. If you are looking for a goofy sidekick who can keep up during the day and snuggle in at night, Banjo may be your perfect match. Our sweet Chloe came in not looking so well but once we figured out she was allergic to chicken her life changed. She can not have any chicken products at all. Story
Bobby is a 5-year-old, 15-pound pug with the sweetest face and the softest heart. He’s new to rescue and still settling in, but he’s already showing us what a gentle, loving little guy he is. When Bobby arrived, he was dealing with untreated skin allergies and ear infections. After receiving medical care, he’s feeling so much better and finally getting to enjoy life. These days he loves soaking up the sun, relaxing in cozy beds, and being close to his person. His signature move is snoozing belly up with his tongue out on a plush bed like he owns the place. Bobby is affectionate and thrives on companionship. He does have some separation anxiety, so he would do best in a home with another dog or with someone who works from home. Since he’s in a brand-new environment, he’s had a few potty-training hiccups, which is very normal, but he’s catching on quickly and is already learning to stand by the door when he needs to go out. He’s been doing great on walks and has been friendly when meeting other dogs and kids. Bobby is happiest lounging at home, snuggling, and feeling safe. If you’re looking for a loving little companion who just wants comfort, stability, and a person to adore, Bobby might be your perfect match.
