I'm definitely a Pug mix, maybe with some Beagle. Some nice people put up flyers and knocked door to door but no luck finding my people. I am approximately 14 pounds, with a curly tail and am soooooo sweet. Such a smart puppy. I am a typical happy puppy who loves nap and lap time, likes to play with toys and my foster Mom says I am highly intelligent and a quick learner. I already know sit and am learning to stay, and I am working on crate training. I like treats, am a good cuddler, and once fully vaccinated will love taking walks. I’m a “People Puppy” looking for a home that helps me grow into the awesome dog I am destined to be. You must be committed to training a puppy though:). WAIT!!! Please read Rowan's story.He's a fluffy pug mix!! Rowan is a very lucky boy. He survived a hoarding situation. There were upwards of 30 dogs on the property. All were starving. A handful were dead and just left to rot. The dogs that were alive, needed medical help. Mostly nutritional. Here we are now, presenting sweet Rowan. He is a survivor. In spite of what happened to him, what he endured for years,Rowan is just a happy go lucky boy, loves kids. He deserves to live the rest of his life in the comfort of a loving secure home. He is great with other dogs and does not mind cats. Rowan is around 3 years old and weighs 20 pounds. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. Boba is a 15 month old pug with a 4/6 heart murmur. He recently went to see the cardiologist and it was confirmed Boba has a small hole in his heart. With his recent heart diseases diagnosis, he is required to take two medications daily. Upon adopting you will receive all of his medical records to take to your primary vet. The cardiologist said other than twice day meds, he’s totally healthy and ok to live a normal life. He is required to avoid long strenuous hikes but walks on leash around the neighborhood and playing with other dogs is completely fine. Speaking of other dogs, this little guy is very playful and loves other dogs big or small! Sometimes he may need your help to remind him when to take a break from playing! He’s such a social guy and is super friendly and loves all sizes of dogs. He would also do very well as an only dog because he can keep himself entertained with his toys and humans! He would do ok with kids and would make a great addition to any home!! Overall, Boba is a very spunky guy who would make a great addition to any home.
