Story
Meet Saydee! Saydee is just an easy dog to love. She’s 8 years old, a little Chihuahua–Pug mix (a Chug!), and has that perfect calm energy that makes her such a good companion. She enjoys her walks and gets excited for dog park time, but she’s just as happy hanging out at home and relaxing. She’s fully house trained, super easygoing, and doesn’t need constant attention. She’s totally fine doing her own thing, being an independent girl, but also loves being near her people. The perfect balance! She gets along well with other dogs, but she’d also do just fine as your one and only. She hasn’t been around cats since she has been with us, but based on her personality we are guessing she would be fine. She’s the kind of dog that just fits into your life!Saydee is ready for a fresh start and a home where she can just be loved and appreciated for the sweet, chill girl she is!Our adoptions are restricted to residents within 30 miles of the South Bay area of Los Angeles. We do not ship animals or do long distance adoptions. See our adoption policies for more details on our adoption process. If you are interested in adopting one of our available pups, please complete an adoption application. You can find the application at: https://noahs-bark.org/adoption-application. We will arrange a meet and greet with the pet with approved applications only. Please note, an approved adoption application and meet and greet does not guarantee you will be selected to adopt the pup. We do not show our dogs any other time. Meet Cookie From an Abandoned Litter to a Second Chance—Cookie Is Waiting for Her Forever Family ❤️ Breed: Pug / Chihuahua Mix Gender: Female | DOB/Age: May 09, 20206 | Current Weight: 3 pounds (Small Puppy) Good With: Dogs ✔️ | Cats: Unknown | Kids ✔️ with appropriate puppy supervision Medical: Spay Pending (Age-Appropriate) | Vaccination Status: Current to age | Microchip Status: Not Provided Location: Los Angeles, California Transportation: Ozzie and Friends Rescue provides safe transportation to approved adopters throughout the United States. ❤️ Personality, Breed Information & Cookie's Story Cookie and her siblings were still dependent on their mother when the little family was abandoned. Suddenly, their mom was responsible for keeping her babies safe without the security of a home or people to help her. Thankfully, someone noticed this vulnerable little family and help arrived. Cookie, her siblings, and their mother were brought into rescue and given the safety and care they needed. Cookie can now focus on growing, playing, learning, and discovering how wonderful people can be. She's still a very young puppy, and her personality will continue to develop as she grows. Early experiences matter enormously at this stage, and a loving family that provides positive socialization, training, and stability can help Cookie become a confident and happy adult. As a Pug / Chihuahua Mix, Cookie may inherit a wonderful combination of affection, intelligence, playfulness, and loyalty. She'll likely enjoy being close to her people and participating in everyday family activities. Cookie needs a home that can provide: Positive reinforcement training Patient house-training Safe and appropriate socialization Daily puppy play and enrichment Consistent routines and boundaries Plenty of affection and companionship A safe indoor environment Lifelong commitment and veterinary care Cookie was given a second chance. Now she needs someone prepared to make that second chance last a lifetime. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Cookie will need guidance as she learns everything from house-training to appropriate play and basic manners. Puppies require significant time and patience. Chewing, teething, accidents, curiosity, and bursts of energy are all normal parts of development. Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 Days to begin decompressing 3 Weeks to start understanding the household routine 3 Months to become comfortable and feel truly at home Positive reinforcement, consistency, and early socialization will give Cookie the strongest possible foundation. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Cookie's adopter should be prepared for a lifelong commitment to her physical and emotional well-being. Her care should include: Completion of all age-appropriate puppy vaccinations Spaying when age-appropriate Routine veterinary wellness examinations Flea, tick, heartworm, and parasite prevention A balanced puppy diet appropriate for her size and development Dental care Continued training and socialization Appropriate daily exercise and enrichment Lifelong veterinary care A veterinary examination shortly after adoption is recommended to establish ongoing care. Adoption Information To apply to adopt Cookie, please visit: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions Ozzie and Friends Rescue is based in Los Angeles, California, and we proudly coordinate safe transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. Cookie's story began with abandonment, but it doesn't have to end there. She's ready for a family that will teach her what forever really means—warm beds, happy adventures, gentle hands, and unconditional love. ❤️August 20, 2026, 3:00 pm

Meet Skittles Abandoned with Her Family—This Tiny Girl Is Ready for a Lifetime of Happy Memories ❤️ Breed: Pug / Chihuahua Mix Gender: Female | DOB/Age: May 09, 2026 | Current Weight: 3 lbs (Very Small Puppy) Good With: Dogs ✔️ | Cats: Unknown | Kids ✔️ with careful supervision due to her small size Medical: Spay Pending (Age-Appropriate) | Vaccination Status: Current for age | Microchip Status: Not Provided Location: Los Angeles, California Transportation: Ozzie and Friends Rescue provides safe transportation to approved adopters throughout the United States. ❤️ Personality, Breed Information & Skittles' Story Skittles was found with her mother and siblings after the entire family had been abandoned. At only a few pounds, she was far too small and vulnerable to face an uncertain future without protection. Her mother did what she could to care for her babies until rescuers stepped in and brought the family to safety. For Skittles, everything changed. Instead of uncertainty, there were regular meals. Instead of being left outside, there was a safe place to sleep. And instead of being forgotten, there were finally people looking out for her. Skittles is now getting the opportunity to experience puppyhood the way she should. She's learning, exploring, playing, and discovering the comfort of human affection. Her personality will continue developing as she grows, and her future family will play an important role in helping her become a confident adult dog. As a Pug / Chihuahua Mix, Skittles may grow into a playful, affectionate, loyal little companion. Pugs are often social and charming, while Chihuahuas are intelligent, alert, and deeply devoted to their families. At only 3 pounds currently, Skittles needs gentle handling and careful supervision around young children and larger animals. Her ideal family will provide: Gentle handling and lots of affection Positive reinforcement puppy training Consistent house-training Safe, age-appropriate socialization Daily play and mental enrichment Careful supervision while she's tiny A secure indoor home Lifelong love and commitment Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Skittles is still learning everything about being a family dog. Her adopter should be prepared for normal puppy behaviors such as chewing, teething, accidents, curiosity, and plenty of playful energy. Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 Days to begin decompressing and feeling secure 3 Weeks to start learning her family's routine 3 Months to become comfortable and truly feel at home Early positive reinforcement training and socialization will help Skittles build confidence and develop healthy habits. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Adopting Skittles means making a lifelong commitment to her health, training, safety, and happiness. Her adopter will be responsible for: Completing all age-appropriate puppy vaccinations Spaying when age-appropriate Routine veterinary wellness examinations Flea, tick, heartworm, and parasite prevention A nutritionally complete puppy diet appropriate for her size Dental care Continued training and socialization Maintaining a healthy adult weight Providing appropriate exercise and mental enrichment Because Skittles is currently only 3 pounds, her veterinarian can provide guidance regarding feeding, exercise, and other considerations while she is still very small. Adoption Information If you are interested in adopting Skittles, please complete an adoption application at: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions Thank you for considering adoption through Ozzie and Friends Rescue, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to giving dogs like Skittles a second chance. Although we are based in Los Angeles, California, we proudly coordinate safe and reliable transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. Skittles may only weigh a few pounds, but her future can be enormous. She survived being abandoned with her family, and now she's waiting for someone who will make sure the rest of her life is filled with safety, adventure, and all the love a little dog could ever want. ❤️   August 20, 2026, 3:00 pm

Meet Biscuit Abandoned with His Mom and Siblings—Biscuit Is Ready to Grow Up in a Family of His Own ❤️ Breed: Pug / Chihuahua Mix Gender: Male | DOB/Age: May 09, 2026 | Current Weight: 3 pounds (Very Small Puppy) Good With: Dogs ✔️ | Cats: Unknown | Kids ✔️ with appropriate puppy supervision Medical: Neuter Pending (Age-Appropriate) | Vaccination Status: Current for age | Microchip Status: Not Provided Location: Los Angeles, California Transportation: Ozzie and Friends Rescue provides safe transportation to approved adopters throughout the United States. ❤️ Personality, Breed Information & Biscuit's Story Biscuit was found alongside his mother and littermates after the entire little family had been abandoned. Instead of beginning life in a safe home, Biscuit and his siblings suddenly depended on their mother and the kindness of strangers for survival. Fortunately, they were found and brought into rescue. Now Biscuit gets to experience the things that should define puppyhood—warm beds, full meals, toys, affection, and people who care about what happens to him. Biscuit is still very young, so his personality is developing every day. He's curious about his surroundings and learning how much fun life can be when he feels safe. With consistent love, training, and socialization, he has every opportunity to grow into a confident and affectionate family companion. As a Pug / Chihuahua Mix, Biscuit may combine the Pug's outgoing, playful charm with the Chihuahua's intelligence, alertness, and devotion. Both breeds tend to enjoy companionship and being involved in whatever their families are doing. Biscuit needs a family prepared to provide: Positive reinforcement puppy training House-training and consistent routines Safe, age-appropriate socialization Daily play and mental enrichment Plenty of companionship and affection Appropriate exercise as he grows A safe indoor home Lifelong commitment and veterinary care Biscuit's first home wasn't forever. We're determined to make sure his next one is. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Biscuit is a puppy, which means his adopter will be responsible for teaching him the skills he needs to become a well-mannered adult dog. Expect normal puppy behaviors such as chewing, teething, accidents, playful bursts of energy, and curiosity. The 3-3-3 Rule is a helpful reminder: 3 Days to begin decompressing 3 Weeks to start understanding his routine 3 Months to become truly comfortable in his new home Biscuit will benefit from early positive reinforcement training, consistent house-training, safe socialization, and plenty of patience. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Biscuit's future family must be prepared for the responsibilities that come with raising a puppy. His ongoing care should include: Completion of all age-appropriate vaccinations Neutering when age-appropriate Routine veterinary wellness examinations Flea, tick, heartworm, and parasite prevention A nutritionally complete puppy diet Dental care Continued training and socialization Appropriate exercise and enrichment Lifelong veterinary care We recommend establishing care with a veterinarian shortly after adoption and maintaining regular wellness visits throughout Biscuit's life. Adoption Information To apply to adopt Biscuit, please visit: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions Ozzie and Friends Rescue is based in Los Angeles, California, and we coordinate safe transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. Biscuit didn't get to choose how his life began. His forever family gets to change everything that comes next. He's ready for a childhood filled with adventures, affection, and the security of finally belonging. ❤️August 20, 2026, 3:00 pm

Meet Maple Abandoned with His Family—Now This Tiny Boy Is Ready to Grow Up Surrounded by Love ❤️ Breed: Pug / Chihuahua Mix Gender: Male | DOB: April 12, 2026 | Current Weight/Size: 3 lbs (Very Small Puppy) Good With: Dogs ✔️ | Cats: Unknown | Kids ✔️ with careful supervision due to his tiny size Medical: ✔️ Neuter Pending (Age-Appropriate) | ✔️ Vaccinations Current for Age | ✔️ Microchipped Location: Los Angeles, California Transportation: Ozzie and Friends Rescue provides safe transportation to approved adopters throughout the United States. ❤️ Personality, Breed Information & Maple's Story Maple's little life didn't have the beginning he deserved. He was found abandoned alongside his mother and siblings, leaving the entire little family without the security of a home or people to care for them. At only a few pounds, Maple was especially vulnerable and completely dependent on his mom for protection. Thankfully, the family was discovered and brought to safety. For Maple, everything began to change. He finally had regular meals, a warm and secure place to sleep, and people looking out for him. Today, Maple is getting the chance to experience puppyhood the way he always should have. He's a sweet, curious little boy who loves exploring, playing, and discovering something new every day. He enjoys affection and attention and is learning just how wonderful life can be when you're safe and loved. As a Pug / Chihuahua Mix, Maple is expected to develop into an affectionate, playful, and devoted companion. Pugs are known for their social, charming, and wonderfully silly personalities, while Chihuahuas are intelligent, alert, and deeply loyal to their families. Maple may be tiny, but there's plenty of personality packed into his little body. At only 3 pounds, Maple requires gentle handling and careful supervision. Interactions with young children and significantly larger dogs should always be supervised to prevent accidental injury. Maple would thrive in a home that offers: Plenty of love and companionship Gentle handling while he's still tiny Positive reinforcement puppy training Patient and consistent house-training Safe socialization with people and other animals Age-appropriate play and mental enrichment A consistent daily routine A secure indoor home where he's treated as part of the family A lifetime of love, patience, and commitment Maple's story may have started with abandonment, but his future can be completely different. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Maple is still very much a puppy and will depend on his new family to teach him everything he needs to know about becoming a confident, well-mannered adult dog. His adopter should expect normal puppy behaviors, including chewing, teething, house-training accidents, playful bursts of energy, and plenty of curiosity. Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 Days to begin decompressing and feeling safe 3 Weeks to start understanding his new household routine 3 Months to become comfortable and truly feel at home Maple will benefit tremendously from early positive experiences and gentle, reward-based training. Continued socialization with different people, environments, sounds, and appropriately matched animals will help him develop confidence as he grows. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Adopting Maple means making a commitment that will last throughout his entire life. Puppies require ongoing veterinary care, training, socialization, proper nutrition, exercise, and companionship. Maple's adopter will be responsible for: Completing his puppy vaccination schedule Neutering when age-appropriate Routine veterinary wellness examinations Flea, tick, heartworm, and parasite prevention as recommended by a veterinarian A nutritionally complete puppy diet appropriate for his size Routine dental care Continued training and socialization Maintaining a healthy weight throughout adulthood Providing age-appropriate physical exercise and mental enrichment Because Maple currently weighs only 3 pounds, extra care should be taken while he is small. His veterinarian can provide guidance regarding feeding, safe exercise, and other considerations as he continues to grow. Adoption Information If you are interested in adopting Maple, please complete an adoption application at: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions Thank you for considering adoption through Ozzie and Friends Rescue, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to giving dogs a second chance at a loving home. Every application is carefully reviewed to help ensure the best possible match between each dog and their future family. Although we are based in Los Angeles, California, we proudly coordinate safe and reliable transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. Maple was once a tiny puppy in an abandoned family with an uncertain future. Now he's safe and ready for the life he should have had from the beginning—one filled with toys, adventures, warm beds, and a family that will make sure he is never left behind again. ❤️August 20, 2026, 3:00 pm
