Story
Meet Saydee! Saydee is just an easy dog to love. She’s 8 years old, a little Chihuahua–Pug mix (a Chug!), and has that perfect calm energy that makes her such a good companion. She enjoys her walks and gets excited for dog park time, but she’s just as happy hanging out at home and relaxing. She’s fully house trained, super easygoing, and doesn’t need constant attention. She’s totally fine doing her own thing, being an independent girl, but also loves being near her people. The perfect balance! She gets along well with other dogs, but she’d also do just fine as your one and only. She hasn’t been around cats since she has been with us, but based on her personality we are guessing she would be fine. She’s the kind of dog that just fits into your life!Saydee is ready for a fresh start and a home where she can just be loved and appreciated for the sweet, chill girl she is!Our adoptions are restricted to residents within 30 miles of the South Bay area of Los Angeles. We do not ship animals or do long distance adoptions. See our adoption policies for more details on our adoption process. If you are interested in adopting one of our available pups, please complete an adoption application. You can find the application at: https://noahs-bark.org/adoption-application. We will arrange a meet and greet with the pet with approved applications only. Please note, an approved adoption application and meet and greet does not guarantee you will be selected to adopt the pup. We do not show our dogs any other time. Story
Meet Timo Male DOB: October 06, 2025 Weight: 14 pounds (small) Breed: Pug Mix Neutered (Fixed): Pending Vaccines: Up to Date Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Timo is a charming young dog with a happy personality, playful spirit, and affectionate nature. At 8 months old, he is still very much a puppy and is at a wonderful age for bonding, learning, and discovering the world around him. He enjoys attention, companionship, and being involved in family activities. Timo is eager to learn and would thrive in a home that can provide structure, guidance, and plenty of love as he continues to mature. As a Pug mix, Timo may show traits such as: A loving and people-oriented personality Playful and affectionate energy Strong attachment to his family Social and companion-focused behavior Intelligence and eagerness to learn Pug mixes are often devoted companions who enjoy being close to their people and thrive when included as part of the family. Timo would thrive in a home prepared for: Continued puppy training and guidance Daily walks and exercise Mental stimulation and enrichment Positive socialization experiences Structure, consistency, and routine A lifelong commitment to his physical and emotional well-being Young dogs require time, patience, training, supervision, and financial commitment as they continue growing and developing. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue dogs come from uncertain beginnings and may not have had structure, socialization, or training before arriving at rescue. Because of this, most rescue dogs arrive with only basic training at best, and some may have had no formal training at all. Young dogs especially still require continued guidance, structure, patience, and supervision as they mature. The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, structure, socialization, and basic guidance, adopters should expect to continue training and support after adoption. Adopting a young dog means being prepared for: Potty training reinforcement and occasional accidents Leash training and obedience work Jumping and playful puppy behavior Continued socialization and confidence-building Daily exercise, structure, and supervision Routine veterinary care Financial commitment throughout the dog's lifetime Timo will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Daily structure and routine Continued socialization and exposure Exercise and mental stimulation Patience, consistency, and supervision Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience, guidance, and commitment, dogs like Timo blossom into deeply loyal lifelong companions. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes training, daily exercise, companionship, routine veterinary care, financial responsibility, and emotional commitment throughout every stage of life. Timo will need: Daily walks, exercise, and interaction Continued training and guidance Routine veterinary care and wellness exams Preventative care including flea, tick, and heartworm prevention Proper nutrition and weight management Mental stimulation and enrichment A safe, stable, indoor living environment Because Timo is still a young dog, consistency and structure are especially important in helping him mature into a confident and well-balanced adult dog. As a Pug mix, care should also be taken during hot weather, and adopters should monitor for overheating during exercise and outdoor activities. Timo is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside. Story
This 10 month old Pug princess is ready to wiggle her way into your heart! Piper COH is a 10 month old spayed female with a big personality packed into her little body. After her previous family surrendered her, she's hoping to find a forever home where she can be loved, spoiled, and treated like the superstar she is. Piper loves kids and has a cheerful, playful personality that's sure to brighten your day. She is dog selective, so slow introductions with other dogs are recommended. When she's not busy being adorable, you can find her investigating new toys, playing a game of keep away, and showing off her signature puppy zoomies around the yard. If youre looking for a fun-loving companion with plenty of charm and a whole lot of love to give, Piper might be your perfect match! We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. Please find our application at lovejoyfoundation.org when you come to an event please bring that filled out in hand with you. You can find our application at Lovejoyfoundation.org. Story
This sweet senior girl is ready for her next big adventure... finding the person who will spoil her the way she deserves! Betty Boop is estimated to be about 10 years old and weighs 24 pounds. She was found all by herself as a stray before being impounded at a local shelter. When we were alerted about her, we knew we had to bring her into our rescue so she could get the care she needed and have the chance to find a loving forever home. And now that she’s here, Betty Boop is showing everyone exactly who she is: a total sweetheart!! We don’t know what Betty Boop’s life looked like before coming to us but whatever she experienced hasn’t changed her opinion of people. She is friendly, affectionate, and eager to soak up attention from anyone willing to give it. She loves being close to her humans, getting cuddles, and making sure you don’t forget she’s there. One of Betty Boop’s most memorable features is her super long tongue that is almost always hanging out, ready to deliver a kiss or two! She is a silly, lovable girl who brings a lot of personality wherever she goes. Betty Boop also does great with other dogs. She enjoys companionship and is happy to share her space with dog friends. She does have some age-related changes that her future family should be aware of. She occasionally has louder breathing especially when she is stressed or overly excited. Due to her age and overall health, her veterinarian does not feel airway surgery is necessary at this time, but she should avoid situations that cause her to overexert herself. She also has some hind-end weakness that causes a bit of a back paw shuffle, but she is still able to walk, explore, and enjoy life.Betty Boop is looking for a home where she can take things at her own pace, be comfortable, and spend her days surrounded by love. A family with senior dog experience would be ideal, someone who understands that older dogs may need a little extra care but have just as much love to give. After everything she's been through Betty Boop is ready to find the people who will make sure she never feels alone again! Interested in this sweet lady? Please inquire today!

Story
If there was ever a dog who deserved a fresh start, it's Bindi. Bindi came to us after being surrendered to a local county shelter by her previous owner. It was immediately clear that she hadn't received the care she needed for a very long time, so when we learned she was there we rushed to bring her into our rescue and get her the TLC she needed and find her the forever home she deserves. While at the previous shelter, Bindi came down with a bad case of kennel cough which thankfully has now resolved. She also arrived with severe, long-standing ear infections that were so advanced she needed steroids just to open her ear canals enough for treatment. On top of that, she had significant dental disease requiring multiple extractions, and her coat reflected months if not years of poor nutrition and grooming. Today, she's feeling so much better, eating well, and her soft coat is making a wonderful comeback!Bindi also has some weakness in her back legs and walks with a slight hunch. She takes daily joint supplements, isn't in pain, and still enjoys getting around at her own pace. She also has a benign fatty lipoma on her back that doesn't require treatment. Now that she's feeling better, her personality has had a chance to shine! At about 10 years old and 14 pounds, Bindi is the definition of a cuddle bug. She loves being close to her people and has a wonderful way of returning every bit of love she's given. She's also very food motivated, and if treats are involved, you'll see an extra spring in her step!Bindi does well with other dogs, especially calm pups who enjoy naps, leisurely strolls, and relaxing together. She has a gentle and easygoing personality and is happiest when she's somewhere cozy with the people she loves. Her ideal home will be with someone who has senior dog experience and is excited to give an older dog the comfortable, loving retirement she's earned. Bindi has spent enough of her life waiting for someone to care. Now she's ready to spend the rest of it knowing exactly what it feels like to be loved! Interested in this sweet little lady?
