Story
Meet Daniel!  Daniel is a senior guy who unfortunately found himself in a local shelter in NJ. We hate to see a de senior in a shelter so PPAR took him in and he's been with a foster home.He likes to be close to you but not on top of you. When he’s relaxed he likes to lay down nearby and can sleep most of the day. When he’s active he enjoys a walk and playing a little bit with our golden. He has a good appetite and drinks well. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. We would love to find a loving home for Daniel to live out his senior years.  He is dog friendly but would also do well as an only dog. If you are interested in Daniel please apply https://peytonsplaceanimalrescue.org/adoption-application/ ##2105795##

Story
Coco is being fostered in PA and has some vision. Coco is a very, very sweet girl whose favorite pastime is napping. She loves being scratched just about anywhere by her human and is a very go-with-the-flow girl, being great with people of all ages. She is wonderful with other dogs and cats if they do not get right in her face. Even then, she'll just give them a sharp bark to try to get them to leave. Her high-strung, young, maltipoo foster brother is NOT her favorite at all. She is a champion sleeper and often needs to be awakened to eat her breakfast and dinner. She will not indicate a need to go outside but is very aware that outside means "potty time" and she gets right down to business. She has trimmed down quite a bit and should still lose a few pounds, but she is moving much better since losing the 7 pounds she has. She loves being outside to sniff around and to just sit and sniff. She is not a fan of leash walks and will simply sit after a couple minutes. If you are looking for a sweet, well-behaved couch potato, Coco is definitely your girl! BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Meet Reney, a 25-pound, 6-year-old Pug mix. This resilient girl has faced some challenges, but nothing can keep her spirit down. Reney was diagnosed with heart worms when she first arrived, but we successfully treated her with meds and love. We also treated her "cherry eyes," meaning that her protruding third eyelid glands were removed. She is a playful, medium-energy dog who loves to explore the outdoors and make new canine friends. She's looking for a forever home where she can share her love and bring endless smiles. Adopt Reney and let her fill your life with happiness! (ME, 8/1/24)**It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed, is $160. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. Adoption fees for Hope dogs and those who have been at rescue for prolonged amounts of time are reduced to $150 plus a $100 transport fee, as notated in their listings.November 6, 2024, 6:42 pm

Story
Hello, my name is: JoseyDOB: 02/20/2012Sex/Breed: Spayed female Pug/Beagle mixWeight: 25.8 lbsRescued From: Returned adoptionJosey’s rescue story began back in February 2018, when she was surrendered to All 4 Paws by a breeding kennel. She and her sister had grown too old to breed, so they were relinquished to us. Both girls promptly found loving adopters, and learned the joys of life as house pets. Due to her health, Josey’s human had to move into assisted living and could not bring her along, so she reached out to us for help. We were happy to take Josey back into our care and help her find another devoted family. Josey is easy-going and low maintenance. To be happy, all she needs is some peace and quiet, and some comfy dog beds to choose from. She isn’t much of a snuggler, but he has been nothing but sweet. She would be happy as an only dog, or with other chill dogs or cats like her. This senior sweetie doesn’t ask for much, but promises to be a devoted companion in return. All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting?
