Reason for Foster: Ringworm Foster Time Frame: Approximately 3 weeks (The foster timeframe may vary depending on recovery and any follow-up medical needs.) Foster Care Plan: Phoebe is being treated for ringworm, a common and treatable fungal skin infection. While ringworm can be contagious to other pets, it is very manageable with proper precautions. We recommend keeping them in a separate room away from other pets, ideally a space that is easy to clean such as a bathroom, laundry room, or spare bedroom. A room without carpet or upholstered furniture works best. Treatment typically includes regular lime sulfur dips and antifungal medication, which will be provided by our medical team. Our staff will walk you through the treatment plan during your foster pickup appointment so you feel confident caring for this little one.
